B-Ball, took me a while to find the technique. Kind of hard on that sort of game to award people for skill rather than luck, but it works thats the main thing. I would say to improve that one you could make several stages ie the barrel gets further away and you only have 3 attempts at each shot.Originally Posted by Quiksilver421
The high jump one was also fun tho I feel it has a very limited play time. I can't really suggest much apart from maybe add a couple of stages/ give more attempts. Maybe 3 rounds and best two add together ( if thats even possible? )
Hill climb, now this one I found was more about patience than skill. There's one tricky bit to got gold and then you just take it easy to get the platinum. If you found a way of making it progressively harder I feel that would suit the medals a bit better.
You seem to know how to use the editor quite well but just need to give your games a bit more longevity by adding more variation and make them more skill based than luck.
Hope you take some of this in and look forward to seeing what you come up with.
Ok, a couple of pointers here.Originally Posted by CitizenKhan

-It was a bit long between obstacles. If you were to shorten the track it would make it a lot easier to fill with detail / action. You can use the terrain editor to create mountains / ditches if thats the landscape you wanted to go for.
-The first jump was not very fun, especially being obscured by a tree. It was awkward to land and I think its important to start a track with some excitement to make them want more. You could put a nice flowing jump that takes you into the next jump and so on.
-On a high note to finish, the lake jump ending was pretty cool. Simple as it was, it was smooth and maybe a bit exciting too.
I would advise playing tracks by other builders mentioned on this thread - <!-- l --><a class="postlink-local" href="http://www.redlynxgame.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=82&t=8566">viewtopic.php?f=82&t=85 66</a><!-- l --> - and try to find things you like and recreate them in your tracks.
Good luck.
Quite a cool little track. I like the attention to detail I feel medal times are set a little too easy but then the quickest drive line I found was awkward to achieve. I like the alternate routes you put in and nothing was too difficult to do so good job on that.Originally Posted by oXCuBXo
I wont be playing it again however just because I found it a bit gimicky and enjoy more flowy tracks.
I also played your other track. It made me feel a bit lost at times and I didn't seem to know where I was going next. Again the attention to detail was good, but the driving line could do with some more flow.
I have a thread up for my tracks and I'm desperately looking for some constructive feedback. Hopefully some positive, but even if its all negative, it will still be usefull to hear another persons opinion. Its two tracks in particular I'd like feedback on, Hunter's moon and Glen of Tranquility. I'd be really grateful if you manage to find time to try them and provide some feedback. They currently have 4 stars, so hopefully you wont find them horrendous! LOL
Here's a link to my thread if that helps: <!-- l --><a class="postlink-local" href="http://www.redlynxgame.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=82&t=8705">viewtopic.php?f=82&t=87 05</a><!-- l -->
Also, many thanks for taking the time to do this for everyone, as you say its very hard to actually get any feedback at the moment, particularly constructive negative feedback (which is normally the most useful).
Nice track man. I like the theme of the track and feel the medals were set well. Gold maybe a bit easy to achieve.Originally Posted by buttcheekofdeth

You know I don't have to criticise much, you're obviously cabable of making decent tracks already.
Keep it up man I hope to see more.
Good news, you make a decent track builder ( official )Originally Posted by purefuzz![]()
I like what you put together here. It's the right mix between technical and flow
Using the hill in the background was a really good way to get out of filling in gaps with scenery and finish was awesome.
Don't really need to say much more, but GOOD JOB!
I'm sorry but you're GT has not been recognised - Computer says NO!Originally Posted by G1ll1ganTh3p1mp
Please check spelling ensuring any CAPS are in place as it will only recognise if its spelled correctly and case sensitive.
I typed in g1ll1ganth3p1mp the 3rd and 4th letters were L's. Is that correct?
Looking at his username for the site, I would suggest the 'T' is a capital letter. Maybe that is the problem? If not, you'll have to wait for Gilligan to answer! lolOriginally Posted by Jonofthejungle

I just played through "Hunters Moon" and I think its awesome. You have a really good theme going on here and I love the wolf howling in the background.
There was a bit of lag right at the beginning of the track for some reason but it did only effect the beginning and didn't make it un-ridable.
The medal times are good. I did think it was a bit tight for platinum but after a good run with 3sec off my previous best I accepted that I didn't do a perfect run before. Good Job!![]()
Now "Glen of tranquility" This was a great track again but the lag was terrible. I assume you had to use the terrain editor quite a bit to shape the land which has unfortunately resulted in a poor performance track. If it wasn't for the lag it would be a 5* track for sure as I really wanted to play again to improve my time.
You have good a style in your tracks and are good at keeping the level of difficulty the same throughout so I would say keep doing what you are doing and just try and work on getting rid of the lag.
Take it easy and show me more soon as, ok?
