Ill make sure to fix all these problems when I make my second, completely new BMX skills track.
Sorry about that guys!
Live and learn. My first two tracks were really plain. My next two tracks had better scenery and lagged like crazy. My last track had decent scenery but wasn't that highly rated. My current project is something I am determined will do better in each category. At least you only have to worry about stopping cheaters!Originally Posted by MikeBMT![]()

4.5* So tempted to give you a 5!
Dude this track is awesome, there's very little I can fault you on!
I have to say the medal times are set for Ninjas and one or two obstacles would suit the "Extreme" status rather than hard, but for the sheer attention to detail throughout and flow of the driving line ( when you get it right ) this is one of my favourite customs yet!( cheering )
I hope we see more of these in the future!

Thanks very much for doing that review mate
It's nice to have people notice the subtle details and everything you said I totally agree with.
It actually started out as an extreme and I dialled it back mainly because I didn't want to alienate people with my first attempt.
The medal times I set were harsh and that was because I didn't take into account the length of time it took to re-run some of the obstacles if you faulted.
I just used my rough formula of plat, gold+10ish seconds and a few faults, and silver +20secs (30 slower than plat) with a helping of faults.
That won't happen again.
Platinum I wanted to set tough to keep people playing, but the others definitely should have been more lenient.
Keep up the great work with these reviews and I hope to get that last half star with my next creation!
I gave it a three.Originally Posted by Jonofthejungle
Pros:
-Good driving line, pretty smooth
Cons:
-Detail is very boring or non-existent.
-Platinum time is a bit rough, considering it is only 2 seconds higher than your time and you will most likely be the fastest person to ever play your track.
3-4 hours? I spent ten times that! I'm a slow worker![]()
Just uploaded my newest track, let me know what you think.
Gamertag: Citizen Khan
Track: Lumberjack Run
Type: Skills game
Difficulty: Hard
GT: apdenton1 (all lower case)
Track: "The Great Descent" then the follow up track "The Lost City" if you enjoyed the first.
Furthermore if you enjoy both then try "Chemical warfare".
Notes: all three tracks have minor puzzle elements and simulation design. Not tracks that you can speed right through I wanted players to figure things out. Nothing ninja tough though, although The lost City does have some hard parts.
be sure to play "The Great Descent" first.
Thanks. Enjoy!
This thread is really kicking off, can I make a suggestion? How about editing the first post with a table of everyone's GT, Track name and JotJ rating, listed from highest rating to least.
That way we only need to look at the first post to try out the best tracks rather than read through the whole thread? Just a thought...
