One Way Ticket is still one of the best drive lines out thereLooking forward to more of your creations man
Looks like I won't be submitting my next track for a reviewOriginally Posted by HoorayItsMike![]()
Was it really still too dark? I turned the ground ambient light up way higher than usual and added as many lights as I possibly could to try to combat that. Apparently it still wasn't enough I guess. I just love dark tracks too much.![]()
And thank you MISACCUSED!
I'm just not sure how you think your tracks are so bright...hah. I mean you're still going for a darkish theme, right? Cause if you're honestly going for a brightly lit theme, I'm not exactly sure what's going on. And I'm mostly just kidding with you, feel free to submit another track for review ahah.Originally Posted by buttcheekofdeth
No, I am going for a dark theme. However I still need to appease the people who complain about the track being too dark, such as you and many others. So I make the track as bright as possible while still keeping the dark theme I am going for.Originally Posted by HoorayItsMike
If I had my way then my tracks would be much, much darker, but I know that I can't do that because then some people wouldn't be able to see my track at all.
I think its just because of our televisions. Mine is apparently really bright, while yours must be very dark in comparison.
Against the flow is pretty solid, but there were a few things that irked me about it.
1. The pipe you hop onto in the beginning. I think there is a problem with the collision detection with this object because it happens on Dockside as well.
2. The 90 degree box obstacle. It's pretty annoying when you have a good run going, and it is ruined because you get stuck on a box. If it had a little angle to prevent getting stuck, that would be a large improvement.
3. The object use overall is nice, but the obstacle object use is repetitive. 90 percent of objects you come into contact with are either a steel plate, or a shipping box.
Great extreme track! Nice line and overall look and tons of timesavers (that I cant do yet^^)
I didnt have problems with the darkness of the track and that's one thing Im very often complaining about... Im sure its really just the different TVs.
Sick track mate nice line and ******g dark as always lol. Top class.
About your third point:Originally Posted by xzamplez
I did that on purpose. Personally I like tracks that use only a few objects for the driving line. I guess that's just me.
Thanks Don and Emcee. I guess dark tracks are my trademark now.
These are almost exactly the things I was thinking about when preparing to type my mini-review. BTW, I play Evo on two separate Xbox's on two different TV's. One is a 110" projector, and the brightness (darkness?) of the track is fine. The other is a 40" Sony lcd, and unless I turn the brightness on the TV way up, it's a little too dark. So yeah, different TV's=different opinions on brightness.Originally Posted by xzamplez
Good track. 4* from me.
Got to say, I'm not the greatest rider, but I didnt have an issue with any of those three things tbh. My only problem with the track was the rider! lol
