I'm making quite a large track at the moment and seem to have run out of Checkpoints or am i doing something wrong?

Any more than 20 checkpoints will cause the track to crash. Maybe they have limited the number available to 20 so that people who dont visit the forums cannot create a track that crashes? I'm not sure. Hope that info helps though. It is something they will be addressing in a future title update.
