    Disconnects on Track Centre Tracks

    Basically, every now and again (at least one per time played)

    Playing a private game with friends, doesn't matter who is hosting . It will play about 2 - 3 of the downloaded tracks. Then it will take a while to bring the next race up. Then it will say "Waiting for 'Joe Bloggs' " and everybody but the host disconnects.

    It only happens when playing custom tracks. If we reconect and go again it ususally works fine, even on the same track list.

    Is this a game problem or perhaps NAT issue as both me and my mate I usually play with have two xbox's running and it can cause restricted NAT if they are both on. (Virgin Media SuperHubs fault)

    Bear in mind - Nobody gets d/c'ed from xbox live, and it always works fine straight after once everyone re-joins. Then it will probably do it again in about 3/4 race's time.

    Me and my mate both have fully open NATs and suffer with the same issue. So its not just you that puts up with this annoying disconnect issue. Hopefully it can be fixed in an update.

    My NAT is always open but my mate usually has moderate NAT.

    Only because he is tool lazy to restart his router - It's to do with the automatic port forwarding on the router - 2 xbox's trying to use same port so the router does it's thing - every now and again it gets confused and needs restarting to fix the NAT. If I have bad NAT I usually restart.

    Anyway - It would seem it's not NAT related as you said. Are you only having this issue with downloaded content ? I have never had it do it on a standard track.

    Hmmmm........not sure tbh. I do run a heck of a lot of user content in lobbies, usually avoiding the "single player" maps. Purely to try out all the new stuff and build a catalogue of good user tracks. So if I had to guess I would say its only something I've noticed with user content. But I'll make a point to monitor which type of tracks it is and try to report back with any findings.

    If I'm honest we usually play downloaded content too, as you said trying out new things etc.

    I'm almost certain it's never done it on a standard track

    After a week of testing I can confirm this issue only exists for downloaded tracks and not for in-game tracks. This is something that I feel requires urgent attention as it kills the mp experience for many people who want to run user tracks in lobbies with their mates.

    Is there any chance of a dev commenting on wether this is an issue that is being addressed or if they were unaware of it? Its not dependant on the number of checkpoints involved in a map, it happens with redlynx dl tracks as well as other ones. Its only sp tracks that dont have this freezing/crashing issue in mp.

    I believe they've said it is a known issue and will be fixed soon, I'm not positive if it is this exact issue, but I know it had something to do with multiplayer lobbies disconnecting. Hope it helps

    i too have this problem! me and friends (all open NAT) play some DL User created maps and it always kicks us from the lobby after 2-3 races, i dont think we have ever made it through all 7 of the chosen maps.. my game crashes then my xbox freezes forcing me to reboot it.. happens to all my friends who play trials also.. its starting to get boring real quick!! i hope it will be sorted soon as we cant be expected to play the in game maps over and over again.

    It just kills the enjoyment.. we all jump in the lobby then 1 of crashes out and has to reboot then the same again a few tracks later then everybody just quits and turns the game off.. please fix this Redlynx!!
