Track: MW3: Dome Trials
Medium/easy difficulty
GT: TopsideCorpse (capital T and C)
Dome has been destroyed and overgrown. Enjoy my reinvisioning of MW3 map Dome. Feature, sentry guns, osprey gunner, care packages, stealth bomber, and a reaper drone bombarding map. Did best I could with camera work. Maps circle back on itself etc as I experimented with new concwpts. Enjoy
And here's the video:Originally Posted by Topsidecorpse
Nice. I love the helicopters, the care package and the sentries. You should've used the terrain modification tool to add a sand decal all over the surroundings, and the camera angles could've used some work, but other than that, pretty damn good. Very action packed!
Difficult one.... I hate call of duty with a vengence but love trials lol
I agree about cameras...just so many custom cameras added. Only way to fix most would be to creat event to shut them off as you pass that section so when come back around down different track line the old camera would pick you up. I may go fix ot later. I am about all "switched" out and just wanted to get it. Up. Only camera I have a real dislike of is when passing through dome at begining. The rest are serviceable. Thx for trying it out. Any contructive critism welcome.
Yeah i agree. The camera in the dome is the worst. None of them make the track hard or unplayable or anything. It just could've been a bit smoother.Originally Posted by Topsidecorpse
You know you can set up all cameras with triggers and events, then reduce their range so that they don't automatically switch to them once you get too close. Something to keep in mind for future tracks.
Like i said, nice track anyways.![]()
I sold my mw3 after a week.. and I recognise the map..
Care package is good and stealth bomber rocks
Good job![]()
Really cool map dude. I don't remember it off MW3 so clearly as I played black ops more, but all the 'killstreaks' (care package, stealth bomber etc) were spot on. As others -and yourself- have said, cameras are dodgy in places, but overall I enjoyed playing it ( I've had the same problem with cameras when trying to make complex maps - but thanks for the advice about using an event to shut them off, I'm gonna try that!). You've just got to get used to the map, just like COD funnily enough.
Did a little camera work, fixed a few walls etc for better feel. Also modified some background to give map more isolated feel to it. Thx for input. Enjoy!
