    Yeah, I probably should have remembered to update the thread with that! lol

    For those who dont know, there is also now a skill game Hillclimb called Spruce Falls available for those who arent into spin tracks! Its my first ever skill game/hillclimb so be free with the feedback please! lol

    Spruce falls, I'll tell you what I told my friend NitroVanish about his hill climb.

    I like it it's fun, but it's not a hill climb in the way a hill climb skill game is supposed to be. Your climb is really a trials track without the checkpoints because you can stop and settle in between obstacles. A hill climb should start easy like that but progress into a continuous motion, once you slip or slow down too much, you can't make it over the gaps.

    Oh, and why you no let player keep highest height in a run? That seemed like a standard rule for hill climb.

    I don't want to come off mean or anything, it was fun, but that's my two cents. Maybe transform it to trials and see where it goes?

    Yeah, there seems to be a flaw in the example logic for the hillclimb as the height drops, as well as climbs. Something I would certainly address in future!

    As for the line itself, I was going for an easier line and I think thats where I went wrong tbh. I thought putting "pauses" in would be ok. Again, something I would certainly address in a future attempt!

    Thanks very much for the feedback! I'm pretty sure I'll be trying again in the future so its really good to hear your views so that I can use the info next time!

    Spent about an hour and a half playing 3 of your tracks when I should've been sleeping man. Filtration was great fun, really nice line and not too challenging. Riot's already hit the Hillclimb criticisms so no need for me to repeat em, the ride itself was ok though. Hillclimb's re one of my many weaknesses so I'll have to go back to it for a better run.

    I'd posted to Lutha about how technically impressive the spin stuff was when he first started to experiment with it. Unfortunately I just don't find any of the spin tracks fun, the reversing of controls is just too much for my tiny, old mind man I did stick with it for a 0, had to bypass the spins on 2 sections though or I'd never have finished it. Well worth a play and well put together to utilise the spin mechanic but not one of my favourites mate

    Cheers Joe! Thanks for sticking with Spin for the 0 mate! Learnt a lot from the hillclimb (including how hard it is to make one outside!) so should be better next time.

    Filtration is one of my favourite lines tbh, like you say very simple, but I found it really addictive and quite challenging to hit the fastest route. Its nice to see someone go back and try the track, its something I often wonder about......do people go back to tracks or not? lol

    hi BB, watched the video looks cool mate, not had a chance to play it online yet, due to work ,
    but watched video, nice run you make it look sooooooo easy, unlike my runs before release ,
    ill download it today and get a few practice runs offline later
    and will set a time and leave proper feedback as soon as i get the chance.

    EDIT: just downloaded ur spin track and ran it and.......
    .....Aargh!! Im still **** at it!!

    Nice new track i forgot the name but its the spinnng one so first it has a Dl but its a good idea to add the spinning thing which gave it difficulty and replayability because it was quite confusing at times but one problem i had was that sometimes if you spin in mid air your rider randomly crashes maybe its objects close to the DL or problems with the riders head hiting the bike, there was nice background i like what you did including the DL detail in the background you dont see that often and its a very nice thing to see but there was extremely little if not no foreground which did make it seem very empty but its obvious that the spinning was the main concept here but again there was no detail at the finnish.

    The mid-air issues are caused mainly by pressing diagonally on the right stick, instead of just vertically or just horizontally. Sometimes a poor launch position can cause it too, like leaning forward instead of back before you "launch". Glad you enjoyed it though!

    Dont worry, xbl was screwed last night and everything came through garbled,4 times, 2 times, not at all. It was all over the shop! lol
