Track of the Week is in RLP: Pure Trials. Forgot to post it here earlier. (Horrible job, Shifty. Horrible.)

What happened to supercrosses being included in the red lynx picks? I mean if your track doesnt make it to highest rated for the week...it has little chance of getting anywhere, besides those clone neon ones, nothing really new has made it onto the highest rated supercross....how about we retire some of those earlier ones...insane superx and his duplicate off the list...i mean if were not being considered for rlp...give some less fortunate people a chance to get known.....

Well, I suppose it's not entirely fair to strike tracks off the board just because they've been up there forever, but good lord, Highest Rated Supercross is a colossal joke. Aside from a few quality selections that have survived, it's littered with the Insane Superx floating loop type tracks and like 15 versions of that neon track in different colors, like RAC mentioned. At least maybe add a highest rated supercross - 48 hour feed or just something that may help clean up that mess.

Redlynx needs to get rid of the highest rated "feeds." I put feeds in quotation mark because they aren't really feeds. Feeds are supposed to cycle through tracks and constantly show you more content.

Highest rated in trials, skill games, and supercross are all complete jokes filled with crap. There really is no point to them, all they do is immortalize terrible tracks that don't deserve it. Get rid of these stupid feeds and replace them with ones that actually show new content, such as 48 hour supercross.

    Re: REDLYNX PICKS

The main problem I see with the highest rated feeds is simple. Less people play the game 6 months after release than during the first week. So its nigh on impossible to get onto those feeds simply due to the fact that you cannot get as many ratings as those earlier tracks had the chance to get.

99,999 5* ratings and one 4* will always have a better rating than 9,999 5* and one 4* rating.

"Extreme Supercross!" by RoguishRonin (Me) is in the "Highest Rated in Supercross" category. Thanks for letting me know what you think.

I've mentioned it before, but it still needs said every once in a while:

Highest Rated isn't what RedLynx rates high, it's what Trials Evolution players rate high. 1-Star the tracks you don't like at all and 5-Star the standouts.

Too many people are hating on tracks in the feeds when they don't even take the time to rate them, or other tracks, when they play. If some kids consistently rate Golf and Dunk games at 5 stars, and you can't even be bothered to rate HEETSAUCE's track (just an example), then the Dunk game will be higher on the list.

Is this fair? I sure don't think so. If you also dislike the highest rated tracks, then make sure you are rating every track you play. Those feeds are based on worldwide player ratings.

Supercorss tracks are kinda tricky to make, as you need 2 CPs on screen (about 10m apart) or else you will have problems with faults and spawning in Local MP. Also, not as many Supercross tracks are made as Trials and Skill Games, but I'll look into getting a Highest in 48hr Supercross category (No promises).

Yes, because everyone's taste for customs should revolve around what YOU think of them. There are quite a few in all those feeds that i like and that my contribution to their ratings (i can be too generous sometimes) puts them in their places.

Redlynx is doing a good job of catering those customs to appeal to all kinds of players in the community. I personally find 1-2 great maps a day that i can enjoy and i have no complaints. Remember, we are the minority. We only like polished tracks as well as 'buttcheek' difficulty.

I obviously wasn't talking about every single track in those categories, just the vast majority of them. There are a few good tracks in the highest rated in trials and skill games as well.

And you assume that I don't rate tracks, but trust me, I go out of my way A LOT to downrate terrible tracks. I have gone through at least 200 tracks that I knew were terrible simply to give them a 1-star rating. The problem is that for every person like me there are 100 kids on Track Central who will give those tracks 5 stars, which means the torture I go through playing those tracks is completely pointless.

Regardless of what you think about the quality of the tracks in the highest rated, you can't deny that it is hardly a feed. Those tracks are set in stone forever, and it is nearly impossible to get in due to the fact that most of those tracks have a ridiculous amount of ratings that is now impossible to achieve. These feeds could be removed and replaced with better ones that actually cycle tracks and make sure all good tracks have a chance at success.
