+1 More categories is something that may need exploring. Particularly in terms of the descriptive terms we can select. Already we are discussing this, so it may be something worth monitoring to see if the content generated warrants some new categories?Originally Posted by kellemann
The test subject 1 and 2 portal recreations are amazing. No other word for them.
The drive line is not the best feature of the tracks but the visuals and incredibly imaginative touches will have any portal fan grinning.![]()
Hey Red Lynx! you picked someone elses Atlantis track instead of mine!![]()
Oh well it was well deserved....hope y'all at least considered mine though-
"The Great Descent".
Although the other guys track was all about visuals....it still was probably worthy of RL picks. I went for a mix of gameplay AND visuals, but ****** it up with a bad camera placement or two and not adding Puzzle to the tags, since it has minor puzzle elements.
Suppose I should have bought Trails HD, I'd be a master with the editor by now instead of lagging behind everyone. I still think im damn good for a newbie though.
EDIT: That track was in Highest Rated not RL Picks![]()
I like 'A Web Designer' tracks. They are fast fun mediums. Great ambiance and feel to them. Not the most technical, but that's not a bad thing.
Spark Plug and Night Rider are great, although I think Spark Plug is my fav.
Check out my track.
Gamertag: DirtySouthRacin
Track: RedLynx High Rise.
I was trying to recreate this famous jump;

I guess I can throw my hat into the ring.
StllBreathnButY
Aggressive Descent
I cant claim its the most incredible track ever done(I mean really, some of the picks are just)
Or that im a master of the craft, but I went with a pretty grand scale track to show of the size of the environment. I didn't make it look like a bizarre theme, it looks like trials, just huge and pretty. I tried to use as much detail as the engine would allow, and it came out pretty slick.
Plus for funzies, I made bonus areas to discover. Because who doesn't love bonuses off the beaten trail?
I second this. I feel like this guys tracks are too good to be given away for free.Originally Posted by Starbinger
Totally different beast. I was pretty proficient in Trials HD, and the Evo editor makes it look like tinker toys. You'll get there, but it'll take a bit of time.Originally Posted by apdenton1
