If its possible to scroll down the TC home page (like in the feeds) then why not simply add another RL feed called creators. Anyone who gets say 3 RL picks, gets their own spot in that feed and accessing it takes you to their catalogue? So there would be a thumbnail of one of their tracks exactly as normal but without the track name, just their GT. You "click" on it and it takes you to their "catalogue" (liek when you search a creators name).

It would seem a shame to limit the number of normal RL picks anyone could get though, it would kind of devalue the prestige of winning a RL pick if half the creators hadnt been eligible due to previous wins. I've never had a RL pick, but if I was to earn one I would want to "beat" the best, not win by default. Thats part of what pushes us to make better tracks imo.

But anyway, this is just me thinking out loud! So feel free to disregard these ideas! lol

Maybe even just a list of names of creators who repeatedly make highest rated games and tracks. Once their week is up, their high quality hard work is forever lost to golf games and a overflowing river of new trials. Being able to see a list of creators who have had multiple highest rated spots would be awesome. I only suggest this Barry because honestly not many people get a chance to even be rl pick. It's almost like u have to know someone to get it. (under breath-"having rooster teeth love your tracks doesn't help either apparently lol") plus I don't know if we the people like the same stuff rl does...most rl picks are average 4 star. And the list rarely updates. Ok now I'm ranting... While I'm on the subject...why o why red lynx, does the highest games and tracks of all time go off an average of ratings? If one guy gets 300 ratings average 5 star...why is his game or track in the list over someone who has 4900 ratings still averaging 5 star. If a guy averages 5 star it should then default to how many five stars he received. It just means that so many more people liked it enough to finish and give it five stars. Just don't make sense the way it is currently. Great games and tracks people love with thousands of five star ratings Disapear forever while crap games with only 300 people even bothering to finish remain...

Track Central records an EXACT rating for each track, even though you can't see it. Even though it shows a track has 5 stars, it may actually have 4.67 or 4.78 or 4.99. It is actually impossible to have 5 stars, since every track starts off with a 3 star vote. This is why when you give your own track 5 stars, it only goes up to 4 stars.

The reason a track with 300 votes may be above a track with 5000 votes is because the exact rating is higher. The track with 300 votes might have a rating of 4.89 while the track with 5000 has a rating of 4.67.

opinion; any body who voted jorm or katamaris minigames less than 5 should be banned from voting at all because they are obviously either mentally challenged or just petty.
i beleive a couple of extra picks a week wouldn't hurt and would give the people who really deserve a pat on the back a chance. instaed of leaving them in the dirt on the playground getting kicked by a horde of frustrated brats and halfwits.

I RECOMMEND Airease1 for his NINJA GAARTEN tracks. he was the number one highest rated for a while ^^

I understand completely HOW it works. What I have a problem with is WHY it is this way. 1 three star and 300 five stars equals crap as no one even took time to play it out and rate it. One three star and thousands of five stars...seems like lots of people played that game all the way and gave a five star...See what I'm sayin?

It's true though. As long as anyone can rate, there will be tracks with ratings that are not an accurate reflection of their quality.

If somebody spits out 50 different golf / yeti / giant stairway clones, they'd still be rated higher than someone who has 4 or 5 really top quality tracks.

What they really need is a system to record the max speed of the rider, how repetitive the average rider's motions are, how much time is spent not moving the control stick, how much the camera deviates from the default setting, and what percentage of the time most riders spend flying through the air; then have the ability to filter out tracks that fall above or below a certain threshold in each of these categories

Wow, what can i say, thank you so much for giving me another spot on the RL picks. I realy didn't think i'd get such an overwhelming response to this quirky little track, i built it with the intention of it being just a little fun and I'm truly humbled by all the kind messages i've been recieving. Thank you all so much.

I do have to say Mild Insanity is only the second track in a planned trilogy and i started the follow-up a few days ago, i've almost finished the first section and i've laid the foundations for where i realy throw crazy at you in a big way(You'll know it when your being thrown at it with speed, lol) I'm upping the insanity meter a few levels for this one and you'll see exactly why Mild Insanity is called "Mild"

Keep an eye out for "Complete Insanity" In the next week or so.
