    Re: REDLYNX PICKS

I think Redlynx picks should be updated every 2 or 3 days, i still see tracks in there that were up on release day. In that case, Lestropie Stadium should be added. I didnt like it at first but its growing on me. Also Pollution World is a great supercross with 2 lines only. Perfect flow with multiple routes and the visuals couldnt have been better for what the track is.

I want to see somebody take "The Titanic" to the next level. I thought the track was very good, but the general idea behind it (trying to escape the ship before it sinks behind you) was brilliant.
The creator: ArkioAssassin is fully capable of making a newer, bigger, better, version of this concept so I hope he or someone else does.

And what's wrong with that? Has anybody from redlynx ever stated that they pick tracks based on replayability? No.
First of, it's Redlynx picks. It's not "Tracks the community suggested redlynx should promote".

Redlynx picks the track that They enjoy. Be that a cinematic one time cool atmospheric track like Terminator 2 with No replayability or a rather boring looking extreme track with a great driving line and a great replayability, it's ultimately their choice, and whatever type of track they choose isn't really something the community should complain about.

Plus, i'm sure the majority of the community that bought the game is pretty bad at the game, and just play it for the fun each track is, and don't even think about replaying a track to get a better time. Those people problably don't care about a tracks replayability at all.

This is obviously nothing personal against you. I just think it's stupid that people complain over redlynx picks.

Like i said, it's called "Redlynx Picks" for a reason. They choose whatever tracks they like, be it an extreme track, a cinematic track, a cool skill game, or even just a new interesting mechanic or something like the airplane "Reel" that was featured a couple of weeks ago.
First of all, I would say that choosing the initial Redlynx picks with the hardcore players in mind would have been a great way to say "we appreciate your loyalty". There are many tracks that look great with solid driving lines.

If you look at Redlynx picks, and it is composed mostly of "scenic, atmospheric, cinematic" tracks, it shows that they pay more attention to appearance, rather than performance. There is an art to designing a track with a unique driving line.

I recommend: Archetype by Skumbag, Derailed by JJ the German, UC Trials Contest by Maniak, Brass Tacks by Murdoc, You Shall Not Pass by Missaccused, Classic 2 by Willyumz

    Re: REDLYNX PICKS

Would it be wrong of me to promote my own track here?!

I spent the best part of a week making it and really went wild with my creative side. I uploaded two different styles of the track ( with minor variations to suit).

The track/s called Volcano Insano and Volcano Insano Time (The first is a full throttle game and the latter is your basic trials version with a few extra obstacles)

My GT is IiliI PEL IiliI (Thats Capital i...lower case i...lower case L..lower case i Capital i on either side) sorry for the overuse of naffness in my GT lol
