In an effort to answer the most common questions in one place, I've compiled a list of editor tips to help creators get up and running faster. Please suggest your own tips and I'll add them to this post.

- Click (R3), the right stick, to align an object to the driving line. Click again to orient it to the driving line.

- Watch all the editor tutorial videos. They will answer 90% of your questions as well as give you a great feel for how the editor works. You don't have to memorize everything the first watch, just relax and enjoy them then come back once you've started using the editor.

- I suggest starting with the Pro Editor. It works the same as the Lite Editor and you will invariably want to change a variable that is only in the Pro options.

- Save your map often. It only takes a few seconds and will save you much frustration when your XBox crashes.

- Backup your maps. When you go to Save, click (Y) to "Save As" and give it another name. Note that if you will switch to the backup map in the editor, so you have to reload the original.

- Check out the Editor Settings (Start Button / Editor Settings). Things you can do are:
- Read all the tips at once.
- Adjust cursor speed.
- Setup a snap grid to other objects.

- Check out the Track Settings (Start Button / Track Settings). This is where you set your track description, allowed bikes, medal times, etc. It is also where you can designate a different Game Character than the Rider or Bike. It also allows you to change the overall environment settings.

- Check out Example Tracks (Start Button / Example Tracks). RedLynx has included 17 tracks to show you how to do things. Note that you can open an example, select a group of objects, and save them to Your Favorites to use them elsewhere.

- Check your track with every bike. Eliminate the bikes that don't work or you don't want to make work.

- Check every Checkpoint with every bike. A portion of your track may be able to be passed if the bike comes in with momentum, but not if they start at the nearest checkpoint.

- When searching Tracks on Trials Evo, case matters, so make sure you properly spell your Gamertag.

- You can use custom button icons in your descriptions:
