thanks to the guy who put this online
1st attempt on Inferno III
Yep I been there.
He was unlucky he managed to get so close to the finish. That has happened to me plenty of times on extreme levels on Trials HD. I imagine I will waste a good several hours on the Extreme tracks in Evolution as well.
It's totally frustrating to get stuck on one obsticle for so long. The best thing to do after you have faulted for the 100th time is to probably give up and come back to it again later as I find that often in that case you can get over it pretty quick almost without thinking about it.
I feel this guys pain![]()
That's the only complaint I have about Trials. Not the difficulty that's fine but the license tests don't really explain any of the advanced skills required to beat some of these obstacles. I know you can learn it yourself given time but the licenses could at least give you a shove in the right direction.
Totally agree. I was hopeing for some in-game tips on advanced skills that may help with the tougher tracks. I know you can watch the replays of the top guys which helps to a certain extent, but it's tricky to watch the bike and the controller icons at the same time to see what they're doing on the controller to affect the bike.
Have any of the experts on here done any online tips anywhere for HD or Evolution?
can't you go slow motion in replays? so before a tough jump go to slow motion to see exactly what he does.Originally Posted by SteveFNL

I have a lot of patience, but this pushes the bounderies!![]()
Yep, never thought of using slow motion![]()
I've just watched most of that guys video. For me, that's the best Trails Evo video out there - it gives me hope knowing I'm not the only one. I don't exactly suck at this, but I'm by no means one of the cool kids with Platinums on every track. I'll be happy if I just Gold everything.
Anyway, great video, one of the best, gives us "regular" people hope, and removes the sickening intimidation of all these YouTube clips of effortless Platinums!!!
Nice one!.
It is also better to watch replays of times that only just make platinum rather than the very top times. I also build my own tracks with repeating obstacles that I struggle with and practice on them. Landing on a steep incline is my main cause of cockupI am slowly getting there though.
It would still have been better if the licenses actually represented the difficulty of the tracks that follow them. The only thing of slight skill they show is how to bunny hop onto a tiny box which is easy.
This was me on inferno 2 took my like 4 tries to pass it. Then I manged to get it down to 0 faults. There is hope keep going. Good luck
they need to add a back to front wheel technique, as well as a simple switch & spring jump obstacle. These are essential skills that most riders don't do properly
