    Re: New track-Misty Peaks

Added my new track last night, it's called misty peaks and it's a fast medium track through some misty ruins in the clouds. If you have the time please download and rate, and if you like it even recommend it to your friends

All feedback is welcomed, I'm trying to learn the editor and so I appreciate input from those with experience.

    Thank you.

Re: New track-Misty Peaks (video included)

Was up late last night with my newborn keeping her company and she likes the editor music which is great as I can tinker a bit with her on my lap. The result was a daytime version of the peaks track with more background detail. Just a visual update (and a shameless promotional bump).

    Happy riding trials fanatics!

Just found this in TC and figured I would see if you had a thread (as I recognised your name). Really enjoyed it, although I think you may struggle for ratings/downloads due to the first obstacle. Some people will cry about it being "extreme" even though its hard (like hte description says). Didnt bother me and it was nice to actually stumble onto a track I could 5*. Been a shortage of those the last 24 hours! lol Nice work, keep 'em coming and keep progressing!

    Re: New track-Floodwater Creek

gettin better each time mate, lots more detail in this one aswell it looks great!
your tracks have a much better flow than most out there, keep it up

and try not to worry about the lack of views etc. when all the noobys get bored of this game and all the golf and basketball **** starts to die down, people will be looking for creators with nice visuals and solid lines - real tracks so keep up the standard and people will eventually notice..

ps. maybe put your gamertag in the thread title eg. *the emcee tracks* - floodwater creek.. or something like that...
might give you more chance of getting some downloads.

Re: the emcee tracks...Floodwater Creek, Daylight Peaks and

Wow thanks guys it's great to know that you enjoyed them, it's always nice to get feedback from players who know what's up too! Barry I get ya about the first obstacle, was weighing up tagging the track as hard, and I may even do a 'lite version' to get more people playing it.

Cheers for the advice will, and the positive comments bro. I've taken your advice and advertised a bit more. Flow is what I aim for because it's the aspect of trials I enjoy the most.

Thanks for taking the time out to ride and reply

Re: the emcee tracks...Floodwater Creek, Daylight Peaks and

I'm in a similar boat to you regarding feedback and downloads. So hard to get either. I'm hoping that the longer we're around the less garbage will get uploaded. So then at least people will try our stuff and we'll get more than 20-30 ratings. That way we can gauge the response a bit better (although feedback always helps most). What irritates me most is some of the horrendous driving lines I see on 5* tracks compared to tracks like mine or yours (which tend to be on 4*). I just fail to see how a track with a horrible driving line can be worth more than 3* before you even consider the obstacles, scenery or atmosphere. Hopefully perseverence will be our most valuable commodity! lol

I find at least as many good 4* tracks as I do 5* tracks, normally more. But its finding the darn things thats tricky! lol

Anyway, enough of a hijack! Look forward to seeing what you do next. Feel free to message me whenever you put a track up.

Re: the emcee tracks...Floodwater Creek, Daylight Peaks and

I like Daylight Peaks. Nice track, will put up a vid in a few minutes. I rated it 5* and Misty Peaks wasnt too bad, just wish you didnt make the riding line identical so i gave it a 4*.

However i couldnt bring myself to finish (puttin in a good run) your other tracks, tornado town and disaster. The riding line is too messy technical wise- i understand the concept of ripped up track but the obstacle placement was a little bit off, not sure if that was your intention. I didnt want to rate it because it would have been a 1*. Floodwater Creek wasnt too bad, just not my kind of track- weird seein plywoods and barrels in a waterfall/forest scenery.

You are better at creating unique themed easy/med flow tracks, those are the ones that i would imagine more people keep coming back for more, stick to those and no doubt you would be among well known creators.

    Edit- video is up now.
