Hey All

I'm using XBOX 360 (digital download) to play trials evolution. I love the game but my experience is really compromised as when I play the game the disc drive is constantly spinning at full rev, which is annoying to say the least . As I'm using a digital version and don't require a disc to play the game I'm at a loss why the game would need to spin my Xbox disc drive constantly.

Can you explain why the disc drive needs to spin and/or work a way to stop it.

The game doesn't use the Xbox disc drive in any way (it's a HDD install after all). I don't have any clue why it's spinning. What game do you have in your disc drive?

Ive had both MW3 and BF3 in the disc drive while playing trial evolution and both have spun constantly.

this is really odd, i keep seeing this problem popping up around the net. i havent had anything in the drive besides a dvd and i dont think it spins...weird. why would it try to access the drive at all?

and to even clearer both games have been installed to the hard drive.

I know its not ideal but remove anything any disc from the drive to stop it happening.

You need to deactivate automatic disc start up. This will probably solve the problem.

Auto Play = Disabled. Still spins constantly.
