^^
Honestly I have no idea, but I consider is completely irrelevant. Some creators make medal times for Level 4s the same way they would for Level 1s, making anything but Bronze virtually impossible. Others give VERY lenient medal requirements, to the point where I got Platinum my first time passing a Level 4, even with hundreds of faults.
That's why I made it my goal to just pass all the Level 4s and 5s. I only care about medals on tracks I can 0-fault.
EDIT:
Well, you made me curious... so let's see how arbitrary it really is:
Ninja [Level 4]:
Try Harder (Monstified) (141 faults, 29:47.605) - Platinum

At this point I have 14 more Level 1s to 0-fault. I've already passed every Level 4 and 5 and uploaded my runs on them. I've also uploaded my first-try or first-pass runs on a good chunk of the Level 2s and 3s... which was done at the time just to clear them out of the Pending Submissions.
Therefore I'm thinking it would be cool to upload my first-try or first-pass runs on the remaining Level 2s and 3s, just to prove that I've actually passed all 596 Ninja Tracks on the leaderboard. This would obviously mean a lot of time-consuming recording, editing, and uploading... but no new skill-based goals to meet.
My main concern is that in recording and editing all these runs, I may come across some old awesome tracks I never bothered to get good runs on - Badlands by HEETSAUCE comes to mind... I'm afraid that revisiting my first-try runs on tracks like this that I haven't touched in years might lead me to think "Pshhh, this run is so awful, and this track is so amazing. I wanna zero it!"
Of course I wouldn't be tempted to do this with crappy tracks, so it may be more enjoyable than the tedious-at-times process of trying to 0-fault EVERY Level 1, including the crappy ones. But of course the bottom line is that this could potentially delay my move to Evo if I do rediscover some old gems during this process.
So here's my question to y'all. What should I do?
Record my runs on the remaining Level 2s and 3s regardless of how crappy they are, and resist the temptation to improve on even the worst runs and/or best tracks.
Record my runs on the remaining Level 2s and 3s, and potentially decide to 0-fault a handful of awesome tracks in the process.
Just finish 0-faulting the remaining Level 1s, and move on to Evo ASAP!!! (Somehow I know most of you will suggest this option...)
Record wot youve done already, then we can see your attempts as they were...without improvments...
DEDICATED...
Then...get on evooooooooo
Cant let go, can you?!![]()
Just do what you like. As long as you are still having fun why should you stop?
Improve on the old awesome tracks like badlands, record all the runs and stop playing trials for a week or two to lose some muscle memory since the phoenix on trials evo is way lighter and more agile. It felt really akward for me passing from the hd straight to the evo bike.
It's up to you, but my suggestion would be to upload no matter how crappy the run is. It's called a first try for a reason, it's not supposed to be perfect.
Your taking to long. I might get on hd and zero fault some ninjas for you.
My suggestion is to upload nothing and buy evo.
