I was making this track, got everything the way i wanted it to be, and then after i was done i clicked the share track. I passed it, took a snapshot, tagged it as jumps, puzzle, and high speed, and then tried to share it, but then it said that the track was made on a different profile. This is impossible because im the only one who played this game at my house and haven't downloaded another person's track yet. Any help? I really dont know what to do, i guess that this game is completely glitched out.
Hey, I have the exact same problem.
I made a pretty good track, when I try to upload it I get:
'UPLOADING FAILED
This track was not made by your currently active gamer profile.'
I certainly made the entire track on the same profile, but I was offline for some of it, could that be the difference?
I would appreciate any help so I can share my tracks, I put a lot of time into them!
Thanks,
Clif
this also happened to me and couple others .help please redlynx. if i didn't make it in editor on my GT then how the heck did I load it up ?
In Farcry Instincts if you saved the map while offline you couldn't upload it because of possibly hacking. To play online you had to have built it online.but I was offline for some of it
We are investigating this problem, but we haven't found a real reason for it yet. This error happens when your active profile doesn't match the creator of the track (hack prevention check). This check should take into account the situations where you have been online or offline, and both cases should be accepted. However, due to the xbox profile model, being offline at some point might have an effect to this problem as it does bring more variables to the soup.
One potential workaround:
Load the track in editor and save it as a new track (Save As) with you profile while being online. Then try to share the newly saved track.
Thanks Jorma as you have saved my track so this may work for others P.S. hey Trialers check out my tracks
