    Distant Physics Question

    Hi there,

Is there a way to have physics active on an object once it gets distant from the rider/camera?

I have something that falls, but when it gets a little ways away from the rider (who is frozen for the moment to watch) it (the object) freezes too.

I want to have the object keep falling in the distance.

    Re: Distant Physics Question

You can try making the physics range 'bubble' larger, but that can cause lag in some cases. The physics range can be modified by selecting the small red cube near the default camera target.

Otherwise, use the Object Position Event to move it beyond the physics range.

    Cool!

I'm going to try that, and thanks!

Thanks, you both asked and answered a question I was about to ask lol.

Looks like I'll have to use x,y,z sources and object events for 6 bombs, damn this physics tool.
