Appreciate the vid, Will put it in the OP![]()
While I liked and enjoyed the track, for me it was just too short for such a simple line tbh.
I do have a question out of pure curiosity. The sun is located at the finish line (so to speak), but if it had been behind the camera it would have highlighted the custom made buildings a lot better and shown off their detail. Was there a reason why you chose that particular orientation for the sun?

About your sun question, i had it shine on the buildings first but there where to many shadows to cast and it started lagging. It did look better, but the lag was not acceptable.
Oh really? Thats interesting, I wasnt aware that the suns shadows could cause that. Certainly something I'll bear in mind from now on! lol Thanks for the answer, makes perfect sense now.Originally Posted by Lumberjack
Sick tracks Pep, amazing scenery and sweet lines. Will check out your new one tonight![]()
the first crusade was nice looking and had a fun line!!![]()

Barrybarfly: glad i could help. if you have more questions, just ask![]()
kush: thanks for the compliment, have fun on last crusade.
Storcken: thanks a lot sir.
As it happens! lolOriginally Posted by Lumberjack
I noticed the fountains drop down eventually ( I was looking at the buildings!) and wondered if they are on a time delay, or what it is that triggers them? Again, really just curious about it, thats all!
Ah good question.the fountain is completely glued together also the waterfalls are glued to it.
The trigger is just after the checkpoint inside (think its the second checkpoint in the track)
Yep its with delay filters,
first it turns on a sound then delay like 1sec now the waterfall effects go on.
Also i attached a directional force to the water so i could enable physics on it with the physics effect.
Water moves up for 10sec and then physics are off again.
Then another physics on/off and between them a delay filter for the fountain itself.
Trigger//effect on/physics on (water)/10sec delay/physics off (water) physics on (fountain)/delay filter 2sec/physics off (fountain)
ill post a vid soon if you want, it was pretty easy only hard part was figuring out how to get the water to rise without a ope. Never used ope
ojea the water was not affected by normal gravity. I put that off and set the weight of it to 1
Thats pretty close to how I thought you had done it. Just thought it was a nice touch tbh! lol
If you wanted to use some OPE's, then here's a link that uses a flowchart design to show the actual "cards" you lay out in the editor to make it easier to follow. Might help you out with it a bit. https://docs.google.com/drawings/d/1...enheqPO4g/edit
