    How to hange ropes?

How do I hange ropes from rope holders? I need the ropes to be under physics but the hangers to stay static. How do I do that?

Joint between the end of the rope and the rope holder.

Is there a way to let the ropes fall into place while you're in the editor, and then turn off physics so the ropes will be hanging stationary right when you start the track?

I tried. What do I join it with? Also how do I join two ends to 2 different holders?

I'm trying to make the ropes so they're already hang in a curve during the 3...2...1..Go section. Right now they only fall in place once physics gets activated.

The rope is a special kind of object, where it has it's own joints and multiple pieces. So you can select different pieces of the rope and only thing you need to add is the last joint that connects the rope to some other object.

So, you just select the end of the rope as the joint target 1 and the holder as target 2. And then do the same with the other end of the rope and another holder. Usually you will want this joint to be working essentially as a glue, so make all angular and linear limits 0.

I think they always start off straight, so no. You can set a force on the rope, which would make it hang really fast, but even then you would see them move right at the start of the track.

So I figured how to hang a rope. Any idea how to connect 2 ropes together to make them longer and keep the physics? Also, and idea how can I give a hanging rope more sag?
