Thought of something else I should mention as a suggestion(such minor things are surely the sign of a fantastic game)
In a private match it would be nice to be able to change the timer at the end of the track so slower friends can finish. It would be fairly handy when playing user tracks as people tend to get annoyed when you tell them about a great ending to a track and they don't get to see it![]()
- Ability to change track descriptions, tags, and difficulty rating after upload to track central
- MANY more pages of tracks in search results.
- Subscribe to creator and Friends List push feeds for new tracks
- Ability to mark my uploaded tracks as "friends only" or "by invitation only"
Just starting to get into animating and something I think would be immensely helpful would be the ability to group, collapse and label a selection of events/impulses/data sources.
It would tidy the screen up and make it easy to find the bit you are working on if you could just have one yellow square with the label "move forward" which when clicked expands to show all the components of the operation.
Like Euphoric said earlier in this thread, I would love a flatten huge area tool. Or better yet, with some DLC, include a big FLAT dirt section in a new big map area to work in.
That would be fantastic. I haven't done a whole lot with events yet, but I found myself wishing they didn't make such a mess on the screen, especially when you start putting things in that might overlap the icons, etc. It would also be a lot closer to programming in which you can have an entire event defined under one module/function and recall at a glance what it actually does.Originally Posted by EuphoricFusion
Some of these, heck probably all of these were mentioned. I'm just now trying to catch up.
- I'd like a 1-10 rating system. Its far too easy to hand out 5 stars, but getting a perfect 10 would be near impossible unless its brilliant.
- I'd like to be able to delete previously uploaded tracks and be able to adjust difficulty settings.
- I want to label a creator as a "favorite" and be notified of new tracks by them that I've never downloaded.
- I want to be able to change bikes without having to exit the track completely.
- I want to be able to share a track with someone else and see a "most shared" category.
that's enough for now I guess.
Another editor related one.
It would be sweet if instead of having to glue a sound to an object, the was an option in the sound source to select an object from which the sound is emitted.
Is there a reason why when beating your best time on a track during a tournament, it does not update your best time for that track? I think there should be no reason why it shouldn't! There has been SOOooo many times when I beat my best time on a track during tournaments.
This would also make tournaments more useful, you then would have more reasons for playing them!
During a tournament you are racing the time you previously set for the tournament.Originally Posted by jasonwilks
Any green times at a checkpoint is you going faster overall, not on a per track basis.
My gripe is with the drivers lean. It seems very sensative,so it can be harder to control on the harder tracks.with this, and the brake,my rider sometimes bounces about like a nutter..
i just feel that this could have been a little less sensitive to what it is..even though ive got used to it,its still a pain...
