strange i thought of this last night, funny that nobody has said this yetOriginally Posted by Retribution
id like a static way of lighting a track . not having to use the sun as a point .so you could just light a track if its inside for instance .it would stop the need for point lights and unwanted shadows in certain points in your track .
»I would like to see/hear ways to modify engine exhaust.
»Download music to custom tracks. There is a way, but it's too tricky.
»The right thumbstick currently serves no purpose while riding and I would like to have it to be able to control the in game camera while riding during game play. Like how it is with the in game replays, were it pans the camera just a little bit in the direction you choose. I think that would be very helpful to every player as they can more easily prep for the next obsticle. Especially like ninja stuff and a speed run, all around everything I guess.
Downloading custom music would take insanely long, so, people would cancel downloading it and play something else. (And would overload track central)Originally Posted by T2idingJVlower
Not possible to add right stick for camera turning in TE, because there are tracks which uses Rstick, like this track: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xKeoGwIErjg
Anyway, there should be an options for objects to disable shades.
About deleting our own tracks
In the next trials it would be nice to have the option to do this, as so many have said, with limitations of course. For example-
-everything has an eligible grace period to be deleted. An hour, a day, a week, etc. after that it's set forever.
-the publisher can choose to mark something as permanent, whenever they want. All tracks start out deletable, but when marked permanent, it's set forever. Players can see on track info screen if a track has been made permanent.
I completely understand why we can't just erase a track or game ourselves at this point. People put a lot of time into their scores, so erasing that for any odd reason is unfair. BUT with a system like those just mentioned in place, players will know what they're getting into ahead of time, and can choose how they want to approach something.
If content is deletable for just a short period after release, that shouldn't have a huge impact on tc, I don't think. People won't have the chance to invest in the peice of work in that amount of time.
If the player has the freedom to lock something in whenever they want, that could be a huge change in what goes on in TC. Projects left unlocked just screams "unprofessional" and potentially wrought with flaws...but that's the beauty of it. Players will be more informed and have all the freedom they want. Noob, or pro, for whatever reason the creator desires, can pull the plug on something if it bothers them, and everyone knows what they're getting into.
I would imagine the only things selected for picks would be tracks that are locked in. That would just be smart, professional, and still encourage people to be confident in what they release. I think the system seems sensible, anyone disagree?
Search for tracks with certain bikes enabled.
