im takin my time with mine i dont see any need to rush. Me and my friend constantly test it online in the trials races. Thanks redlynx for adding the option to do this, it saves so much time in the long run!
I really liked the supercross track that kellmann made too its nice to see a challenging supercross track.
There's an achievement for make a track with three path points and test drive it, but not upload it. I worked on my level for hours until I was satisfied with it. It's called A.Wake: Chapter 1. Gamertag: MoltenPanthar.
It's Alan Wake themed, and the first part of a few more that I have yet to make.
I don't understand what the big deal is?Originally Posted by AmiableqbananaIt's basically like a like/dislike system. One star is a dislike, 5 is a like, the only difference is people have more options to choose from if they "Only like it a little bit". It's only a flawed system because it's subjective. It's the best there is.

Try mine...would like to add on more sometime. hope you like.

Escape the dragons firey breath by making it to the safety of the Falmer Cave.
Yes and no - problem is, unless you have a ****-load of TrialsEvo-enabled Friends, yo have no-one to test them, give yo feedback, make comments etc. It is good to know whether you have potential or should simply give up !Originally Posted by tomcat
Unfortunately the current system with track uploading (where only the latest 50 are advertised clearly !!) is not really conducive to anything at all. It simply is not working. I for one am holding fire on publishing tracks until a new system is designed - if ever !
I can personally see why people use test uploads.
For example I made a skill game and once I uploaded realised I messed the scoring up so people who score no points end up getting to the top of the leaderboards. I wouldn't have been able to recognise this issue without the test upload as i'm still learning
I re-uploaded with the fixed issue only for someone to find an exploit in my game.......
SO I uploaded again.
Both of these issues are prevelent in most design stages, especially when creating a game rather than a track, so I can understand the need for testing to a broad audience, although I do wish I could delete older tracks.
I'm taking my time at the moment.Originally Posted by raistlin2076
There is so much more to learn in the editor and so many different ways to do things.
Any time I venture into the editor at the moment all I am doing is messing with the new tools and see how they work so that when it comes to making a track there might be a little less guesswork.
Also working with curved driving lines brings a whole new world to track building and is something I am gonna have to try really hard to get around.
I found it easier building with absolutely nothing on HD and all this pre-made terrain makes it harder for me to visualise something of my own. When there is a mountain in front of you and a clear path up it it's kinda hard to not just follow it and go the easy route.
If I make something then I want it to have a quality to it that does the game justice.
That will take time for anyone to do adequately by themselves.
The ingame tracks were built by a TEAM of developers. Most of us make tracks on our own.
With the new stuff in the editor, curved driving lines and new bikes, testing is going to take an age!
