    If you use an Interval Trigger for sending an impulse to a Sound Event, you need it to disable after 1 impulse, otherwise it keeps sending multiple impulses and never actually gets to play the sound.

    As a test, change all your sounds to another variation (just hold LB and multi-select the sound sources). Try other sounds to see if they also cause distortion.

    Setting the pitch to a curve driven data source can lead to some interesting results, lol.
