Hi I'm new here. Sorry if this is covered elsewhere but anyway, was just wondering on the game size. Without getting into the track editor side of things, will there be more events etc in this or will there be around the same just in a bigger game world? Bigger tracks? Has single player had less put into it because of the multi-player addition? I'll be buying it at release anyway, just wondering.
The tracks will be just big enough for me to waste a lot of my life on them =)
Single player is bigger and better than ever.
Single player career has 60 tracks plus skill games I believe. Trials HD has 35 plus 12 skill games without the DLC content.
Even if you never touch the editor, you will have ENDLESS single player tracks to play. Once people get the hang of the editor, it will be like endless DLC for free.
Speaking of the editor, just what can we make with it? We're supposed to have the same tools as the devs used yes?
So, the Limbo inspired track for example. Would we actually be able to make that ourselves? With the black and white filter, no music , just ambient sounds etc and everything?
that's what I was thinking too. it's brilliant to make a central repository for user created content. let the community develop the tracks as time goes on and let the game developers work on bugs and new features. very smart.Originally Posted by john92
Literally the exact same tools the devs used, they did it all on the xbox with an xbox controller!

^ This thread has links to all 32 of the editor videos to show you how to use all of the functions, and it also comes with all of the Skill Games as available to open in the editor, along with some extras thrown in for good measurethis means that you can see exactly what tools the developers have used to create the rules, game type, etc of the skill games. Literally endless!
