So I'm going to start as i'm getting rather confused by filters triggers etc ...
I think the trigger is the first thing the rider hits this then hits a filter then then makes a change to the track ?
But where do impulses come in ? ... im confused lol
Think of it like turning on a light. You flip the switch (trigger), that sends electricity (impulse) and that results in the light turning on (event)
The 'Light Switch' think is a good analogy. You can take that a bit further to 2-way or More-way switching. Where like in a long hallway you have 3 light switches controlling one light, or one switch controlling both the light and fan in your dunny. Or one of those 'touch' lamps where each press makes it 1 step brighter until the point where it cycles back to 'off'.Originally Posted by bobozilla
Also, with data sources, you can think of it like a combo dimmer/switch. Switch turns light on, but a 'force' changes brilliance of light. A practical in game example could be if the Bike is off the ground (trigger), the headlight is turned On (event 1a), And the brilliance is controlled by velocity of rider (event 1b with bike speed as data source).
Ohh.... Ideas!!![]()

so I'm trying to make a third person biking game and was wondering if there was any way to switch left and right from being the way to lean into up and down to lean...help?
Maybe attach a custom camera and tilt? Using object position event and using yaw and pitch or whatever.Originally Posted by saberhume
somebody answered this already in another thread, search for it and you should be able to find it. It was like yesterday so it shouldnt be to many pages backOriginally Posted by saberhume
