Has anyone looked on Yucatan temple yet? Threre is a Ruination-like tablet if you go back at the start, it triggers an animation with the skull near the first cp.

And i think you have to do the track with 0 faults cause when you press b it makes a sound and the animations will stop.

Which track? Yucatan Temple...?

Is that one of the RL dev track central maps?

Yup.
There are other skull-thingys scattered around the track that do the same thing after you touch the tablet, which seems to be the only one in the track.

Not more Ruination like slabs......

If you hit the tab and activate the first skull and get past the checkpoint you can bail/fault and a sound is made. Carry on riding and the next skulls activate... Soo... It seems you have 1 life too.

So, I hit the slab to reveal the hidden skull and it disappeared in a flash of lights. Then when I reached the second checkpoint, it re-appeared on a stand in the distance. I finished the track faultlessly and in the end cutscene, it showed a key or weird shaped statue on top of the pyramid dissapear in the same flash of lights as the skull. What did I miss?

Pushing the slab at the start and then a faultless run give this alternate ending:

That seems to be the Ankh symbol, the egyptian symbol for key of life.

That alternate ending on Yucatan could signify the beginning of life and the end of life.

i mentioned the statue way back at the begining, and thought it must be a massive clue...nice to see this followed up...

It's funny how overlooked it was but tbf at the time RoD had just come out and I think people wanted to find eggs rather than research their meanings.

Anybody thinking that meteor at the end is referencing the Chicxulub crater? Meteor + Yucatan, my mind goes straight to that.

(Since I'm new I can't post links, but hit Wikipedia for what I'm talking about)
