I feel like I should be contributing to this riddle a lot more than I have been considering how obsessed I am with the Gravity Falls puzzles right now, it's just that I have no idea what's happened so far! Apparently there's signs hidden in the Riders of Doom tracks or something? Were there easter eggs in Origin of Pain? Someone want to give me a quick recap?!![]()
This may or may not be conclusive to date, but in the Origin of Pain there was a tempting false egg (Ruination) and a mysterious cog wheel thing on Reclaimed. Plus more, memory failing me...
Riders of Doom:
We have found planks with coded writing on them, it seems all are needed to attempt decryption.
Planks were found on these tracks: Oblivion, Lumberjack, Middle of Nowhere, Anno Domini, Greek Therapy, Bazaar Run, Halloween Hot Rod, and Trouble at T'Mill.
There are two left to find, one on Pump it Up, and one on Dystopia. (Dystopia has a reference to the square root of 225 which is 15 near the end)
I ran through those two tracks for a while today, and couldn't find anything. Will try some more again tomorrow.
The only thing I found on Dystopia was at the last checkpoint if you reverse past it it makes a noise. Then if you can reverse hop to the previous check point it makes the same sound. Bare in mind these checkpoints are right near the square root sign.
Leaving to work now, for pump it up I think you need to finish the track without touching any of the thin red pipes... I almost made it but really need to catch my train now ^^
Good idea, but it doesn't workOriginally Posted by kobe745
Is it possible to turn the (white) valve at the 3rd checkpoint? The 3 vertical pipes look interesting..
There are 15 checkpoints in Dystopia, so maybe the sign is a hint that there is something at the last checkpoint.Originally Posted by TheRealTeeHill
The valves are the only thing I've been drawn to on Pump. But fond no way to interact with any of them.Originally Posted by scottie1230
Regarding the checkpoint noises being made when reversing, this phenomena does occur in other tracks. The sewer track on OoP does exactly the same at 1 of the checkpoints near the end so it may just be an error in the logic but certainly something to be aware of.
Great work Murdoc, I assume that is Pump it Up there.

Any explanation for those planks Mr Loch?
