Those Ruination button thingies on the ground sure did get me thinking. Consider this: I think that the buttons, teleportors, and moving cog chute things are all related. I stumbled upon the buttons in this forum, just scanning around and saw that there were five. I didn't think much of it until I was playing it yesterday and heard portals, especially near the end. I then remembered the buttons and found them. I was sure that the buttons would stop the chute from moving, but alas there are only four out of five buttons before the chute, and after the fifth you can't go back. So. I bailed. Everywhere. Into almost every hole or place to fall. I bailed hundreds of times, with different combinations of buttons(like 1 button, bail, 2 buttons and bail and so on.). I found that when you bail into the water at the end, you get shot down as if there's massive gravity or a jet on your body-but you can't control it really, only a little left and right. The point of all that is there is a portal like right on the other side of the ramp you ride to end the track. Like, right there. There's another pool, right behind the fifth button, there's a portal in there too, I think. I've watched replays and tried to move the camera to see, but you can't. It does look like the 2nd, unreachable chute goes to an entirely isolated tower. I believe that if you can somehow get back to the cog chutes AFTER button 5, it will be stopped. SOMETHING makes it stop.
I'm mega ranting here but what else could the buttons do? You have to get all of them, and not fault, or else they don't show up. You can't go back after you hit the fifth one, so whatever it does is between the 5th button and the end, right? The only portal after the fifth button is in the pool at the end, so it MUST be connected to the buttons, right? AND, the last portal in the pool at the end MUST be connected to the others, right? Maybe the portals and the buttons have nothing to do with each other, but I think they do. Anyway. Mega Rant over, thanks.
If you bail out at the end of "high level degree" ,flying over the lift, if you fly far enough and do a bit of wriggling you eventually get to an area with circus tents and other bits and pieces,didnt really explore the whole area as the wriggling was infuriating me, maybe its a secret maybe its not....would they put a secret when it requires wriggling?

I dont think they would. And you are probably seeing the circus that is built into the editor, and the DEVS just didnt remove the circus when making High Level Degree.Originally Posted by crimsonmist

I've been trying some things on Ruination and I thought it might be about getting all 5 switches and finishing the track within a certain time, but I just got 43.933 while getting all switches and nothing special happened, so I doubt it's something with that.
Does anyone else also hear a portal around the 3rd checkpoint area?
EDIT: I saw that you guys had already tried doing fast times in another thread. You said platinum was 43 seconds and nobody had done that yet, and I was able to get 42.675 while getting all switches but unfortunately nothing still happenedthis blows.
I heard the portal i think theres one at the end too if im not mistaken.

If you go up that water shoot,the half way point,if you stop you will find your bike n rider can glitch through it..i tried to jump on the coggs,which i did,then into on of the tower holes just underneath the coggs..i managed that too..but nothing..

I dont think this is an easter egg, but a glitch I found:
On the level "Gateways" Once you get to the second portal, go very slowly into it. Once you go through, you get stuck on the portal on the other side, and you can reverse and fall below the track. If you go long enough, you will see a blue tornado and eventually another part of the track. Probably not an easter egg, but just something fun I found.
