It seems the same, from Lucretius, the praise of spring. Translated to english:

"Finally, rains are lost when Father Heaven
Has dropped them into the lap of Mother Earth.
But shining grainfields sprout, and twigs grow green
On trees; the trees grow, too, and bear their fruits."

Wich must mean we missed something from this point on...

    Re: Trials Evolution Easter Eggs

A couple of pages back I posted what I thought could be the significance of the poem:

The answer would be hidden in the brighter tones. Up to this point we have interpreted the song very literally, we deciphered the hidden code and found that it was pointing us towards Lucretius. The Latin passage that was found is part of 'The praises of Spring' and reading about this passage I find it's content could be relevant for the rest of the riddle.

Lucretius' concern is with the physical power of nature, positive and vigorous, as manifest in renewed growth every spring. Reading about the poem and its meaning I found out it relates to Epicurism. The spring theme you read about suggests that the recreation of life is a cycle. Lucretius ment to say that the discussion of the existance of a golden age or past perfection is irrelevant, that inner peace is found by accepting that what happens is simply a rearrangement of everlasting atoms over and over again. He believes the key to be in the future rather than the past, the opportunity of a better life is ever available.

If we step away from interpreting the song literally it could be referring us to an other truth, the poets truth or epicurian truth. Man's life is shown in the poem to be defined and limited by unanswerable questions. To suggest the primacy of mystery, each book is given its share of mysteries or happenings whose cause is not known or that exceed previous knowledge and experience (quite a few easter eggs could come to mind here!). Nature is therefore seen to remain unencompassed by previously observed signs. Nature's power is seen to remain mysterious, vaster than man's ability to catalogue.

All of this started in a track named 'Nature Calls' where the platinum heading reads "You have become one with the nature.". That is pretty amazing to me! And although what I have written above does short to the vast complexity of Lucretius book, Lucretius' ideas could have been intended to offer a mindframe to interpret the riddle.

...Then again none of this is very tangible and has that THD riddle feeling wich wouldnt be returning this time around
guess im going to dig a bit further

    Hi guys,
I put here what I've found about lucretius some pages ago.(page 30)

-recently, you guys discover a morse code on the last easter egg song. This morse code leads to an extract of "De rarum natura", written by Lucretius.
In this long poem (wich in fact is a "physics book") lucretius explain how humans and everything are formed by atoms. That's not modern atomism, but intuitive atomism. He also have the intuition of natural selection, centuries before Darwin.
The most famous part of the poem, the "Suave mari magno" (could be the inspiration of the track "nature call" and "origin of pain").It talks about cupidity and ambition.
"(...)Miserable minds of men, blind hearts!
    What darkness, what perils absurd
Burns almost anything for nothing their life!
Do not you hear that cry of nature?
What does it otherwise no pain
For the body and soul peaceful happiness,
    Issued worry, freedom from fear?
The body, we see very little cares:
    The absence of pain is an exquisite pleasure;
The peaceful nature does not ask for more "
    (sorry, goog trad...)

"The spring theme you read about suggests that the recreation of life is a cycle."
Could explain the ourobos symbol on the cement bag in the editor (sorry, I cant put pics for the moment, but you can find page 30)

still looking for more significant stuff

Can't pretend I fully understand the whole pattern decoding process but the same answer coming up twice ( after all this pushing ) doesn't seem right to me

Agreed. It's only a matter of time until the image changes, and I would presume the decode process will not be the same.

Dibs on anything geocached in the western united states ...just kidding.

Lol, green writing in the egg thread and the usual crew turn up

May I add that I will be 99% disappointed with Fusion if there is no riddle... No matter how good it is in all other aspects
I haven't ventured in for a while.....had a few pages to go through and was just getting into this whole checkerboard thing and then BOOM, Anba drops some bloody cryptic box photo(s).

    Lovely stuff.

EDIT - Could anyone direct me to a website or source that explains how to do this fixed pattern stuff in Photoshop. All I keep finding is plenty of graphs and stuff I don't understand.

I'll try, but I'm usually pretty bad at explaining stuff. Sometimes.

To recreate how the original egg found at http://www.fixedpatterencodes.com was decoded, you first have to get both the background image and the fixed pattern "blocky" image into Photoshop (or some image editing software that can do this). For me, it's kind of tricky because I like to just drag and drop images from Firefox into Photoshop, but this site wouldn't let me. Maybe I'm just doing something wrong. So you then have two choices, right click the image and "save image as" (or save target as, or just save as) and then repeat with the background. That's one choice. Lately I've been right clicking on the actual background and I select "View Page Info" and then select the "Media" tab. Here you can see the media elements that make up the page, specifically two images. One at http://www.redlynx.com/fixedpattern/Bg.gif and one at http://www.redlynx.com/fixedpattern/...us-subject.gif.

Once you get them both into Photoshop (or whatever program you're using), the rest is simple. You need to drag either one (doesn't really matter) to be a new layer on top of the other one. They are both the same size exactly so a copy and paste or drag and drop should work. I don't typically use copy/paste so I'm not sure but you may have to manually align them if that's they way you do it. Make sure snapping is on if you do it this way. The drag and drop method is my favorite, and (using Windows) if you're holding down the Shift Key while releasing your mouse during the "drop" phase, it should center the new layer. Wow, I really need to work on simplifying my explanations.

Finally, in the Layers panel (if you don't see this, try F7. Or Windows, Layers), change the top layer (should now be called Layer 1) from Normal to Difference or Exclusion. You should see a very faint hint of grey text. Flatten the image (or just CTL-E if you want). To clear it up, there's a few ways to do it. I prefer to use curves. In the Photoshop menu click Image, Adjustments, Curves (or just CTR-M) to bring up the curves panel. You'll see the curves box with a grey spike in the middle. Drag the little black triangle thingy at the bottom left of this box toward the center to snug up at the very bottom left of the grey spike. Do the same with the little white triangle at the bottom right of the curves box. They should still be on their appropriate sides, just a LOT closer and just beneath the grey spike in the middle.

After writing all this up I realized you might already know how to use Photoshop and just needed the last paragraph. Either way, hope it helped!

Thank you. I kind of know a little bit about Photoshop but certainly not that sort of stuff you detailed at the end.

Message received and understood. That's the language I speak mate. Gonna give this a shot tomorrow.
