I can't make any promises. Only have vague ideas for other tracks/skill games.![]()
I really liked the track bobo! The line has a nice tech flow to it and i like how it looks too.
Defineatly worth the long wait![]()

I used your run 'cos mine sucks.
The driving line was great, but I was very disappointed with the detail.
First off I'll just say that 1 Bit Trip is the worst track ever made and no one should ever make a sequel to it.
Second, I DESPISE that 2D camera angle.
Third, this track did not look "old school" at all, which I assume you were going for due to the name. The only thing old school about it is the 2D camera angle.
I would have preferred if you just called it "Rocks at Dawn" or something and stuck with the normal camera angle.
The platinum time was also a bit too tough in my opinion. I think 38 would have been a better number.
Appreciate the vid, stiggy!Originally Posted by stiggyhead![]()

I agree the detail was lacking. But I'm no artist, and my creativity runs shallow. I couldn't think of anything else to add, unfortunately.Originally Posted by buttcheekofdeth![]()
The name seemed fitting to me, as I was going for a "2.5D" look (which, if you're unfamiliar with the term, is games like Trials and Shadow Complex, where you've got 2d gameplay within a 3d world). And since Evo is just over 1GB, I thought it worked. Older versions of the track had some floating platforms, some you rode on and some had trees, and looked pretty nice while cementing the "oldschool" look, but they didn't fit in anywhere once I remade the DL.
I knew some people would hate the camera, but I felt it pulled the theme together more. And I rather like it. But I'll certainly avoid adjusting the camera in the future.![]()
I wanted the plat time to be satisfying. I was consistently hitting 35.xxx (plat is 36) with runs that could be much improved, so I figured any riders around my skill and higher wouldn't have much trouble. I'll keep future plat times a bit looser.
Glad you liked the line! Went through 3 totally/mostly different DLs before being satisfied with this one.
And thanks for the honest feedback!!![]()
Hey Bobo glad you FINALLY got a track out mate
Gotta agree with Mr Cheek on the detail front, didn't mind the camera though. Thought the dl was pretty good with a couple of irritating spots ( nothing wrong with that ), you've done better though. I liked your oozy volcano
I'll run it again today and see if I can smooth my run out a bit...now get on with the next one![]()
