Hey Jook. Your Pinball v2 is the best table I've seen yet on Track Central. That's a very complicated thing to build.![]()
Pinball is sick you can even use the launcher and flippers like drums!![]()
One thing that would be nice is if you put guards below the bottom flippers like wood planks or something. I played it for a while the other day and a bunch of times when the ball fell from the top it would glitch right through the bottom flippers and cause an unfair fault usually after I get all three arcs lit up.![]()
Let me know if you make another one, it's fun to play.

You could set up a conditional speed check on the ball that bumps the ball's dampening and friction levels way up for a split second to take the speed-edge off if it's moving faster than a predetermined threshold. It could be set up by trigger near the problem areas so that it doesn't affect play mid-board.Originally Posted by jook13
Doubling up the flippers with a slight offset might be worth trying as well.
Setting up a parallel ceiling that sandwiches the ball might improve its general behavior. There's a setting in the physics that allows for collision with invisibility that would be perfect for keeping the ball from taking unexpected flight paths or bouncing around in unexpected ways.
Those are the only potential fixes that immediately come to mind. If none of it is useful just ignore and disregard.
I appreciate the tips grimm. I just spent another few hours and its no use. I tried the offsetting thing you mentioned, doubling up the flippers. It helped a bit, but even if the "second layer" of flipper stops the ball from going through, it still sends the ball in a completely random and dumb angle. Like I said, it helped a bit, but not enough to warrant udloading a "version 3". I will make a new trials track soon. I look at this pinball thing as a learning experience... I did learn a lot from making it.
Must take a ride on your art today my old friend!
You have always be one of the top creators, and still is i can see on the vids!!![]()
Ill take a run later today!
