In this video Gamespot were playing Trials Evo. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H1ToE...eature=related
I found the guys who were playing it funny. And they didn't do too bad. But some comments say that they suck and are terrible players.
I know that this is just one video but there are more videos, even of Trials HD where people can't contain their hate when the player is a bit bad.
I don't understand why so many people are obsessed with their rank and skill. They think the only important thing is how fast you complete each track. But what about fun?
I don't mean this to all of the good players, some are real good and playing whilst having fun ofcourse, but many people are so mad about bad players. :/
I often see it in this forum too. I think some people are going way too far though. They find it a very big accomplishment when they get platinum on every track and the best time, but it's just a game.
I'm not one of those who needs to get platinum on every tack. I'm glad when I beat every track. Of course I still try to beat my friends scores to make em mad.
But yeah, that's just how I feel. I find it a bit ridiculous to be honest. Don't hate me for it is just my opinion. And this doesn't count for every amazing Trials players. But some are just dicks. XD
Oh, I just noticed how every paragraph started with "I".
Almost Forgot! Onlymore days!

Well said mate
To me it's just frustrating and doesn't give a good representation of the physics and mechanics of the game. All I want is one review or playsession in HD from a top rider and to hear their opinions.
I think I sense some sarcasm in here.....maybe.....Not sure. But excuse me for my bad english typing and making good sentences or paragraphs. I'm not that good in those things. :3Originally Posted by itzdarbo

Only thing that bothers me is when players blame their lack of skill on the game physics. But yea, hating on new players is wrong. We've all been there.
I'm one of those players who DOES need to get plat on every track, and I also hate it when people get disrespected for no good reason.Originally Posted by Hitman

Watching people play video games can be a lot of fun (no matter how advanced you are) if you bring a bit of empathy and imagination, and are able to follow their choices and their struggle, their triumphs and tragedies. Going out of your way to be a jerk to someone just because they don't have the skill you do is pointlessly crappy, and only shows that you lack that capacity to put yourself in another person's shoes. It's basic Golden Rule stuff: you treat other people the way you would have them treat you if you were in their place. And that's not even the whole of ethics and morality, that's just where you start.
Well, unforgettably we live in a world of competition. People far to often look down on people of less knowledge, skill, or anything really. I am like 342 with DLC in HD (this is the first time I actually mentioned it). But i enjoy teaching my friends of much lower skill set: to play. I know I will win, but do not throw it in their face. Like you said it is just a game. I do enjoy winning though
Best not to worry yourself with why people act so obtuse about other peoples feeling. The only thing you can do is be a better person yourself and hope that rubs off. Since I have been on this forum alone, I have been accused of cursing, calling names, and having a second account to "talk to myself". All of which of course are fabrications, As if I am on this enough to have two accounts. I barely use one let alone twoUnless someone attacks you personally I would let it roll off of your back because unfortunately the world is full of perfect people to look down upon us mere mortals.
Unlucky for most of us it is those in power that feel they need to share their sublime intervention to save us from ourselves.....

I'm always pleased when new players try to get the hang of the game,it doesn't happen overnight, and would rather encourage than be critical.
I think a lot of the people hating seem to forget that they weren't always skilled at Trials. I'm happy to see any previews of the game, no matter what their skill level is. It is kind of frustrating when a preview will give out wrong info though. Its kind of expected though, since most people aren't Trials nerds like most of us!![]()
