The terrain tool is not what I was expecting/hoping for.
I was thinking that you would maybe get a terrain brush or something (like Sim City) so you could just edit the terrain mesh.
From the look of it you could probably achieve the same thing by copy/pasting the hills but it seems more long winded.

I think it looks great - Better than having no shaping tool. Then there's all those other sub categories in the Environment tab, trees, bushes, rocks, cliffs... May even be a few more if you scroll along.

I just hope it's possible to add water into the holes you create? I remember seeing two craters with puddles in them on Gigatrack.

I was hoping to be able to make some mountains, or really deep valleys with the terrain modification, oh well, I'm still impressed with what we'll be able to do with it.

Tutorial #14 was really good. The color and lighting options for this are jaw dropping , the themes and atmosphere we can create using it are endless.

Every tutorial I see gives me new ideas for tracks and themes. This is going to be so great, only 7 days left.

I'm sure we'll be able to stack them to make larger hills and valleys. At least I hope so. .

You can....you just have to LAYER the terrain objects like cannibal said in the video. Like 10 or 12 hills in a row.

    Edit- bobo ninja'd!

That's awesome! I'm going to try to make an E.T. scene, with the rider flying in front of the moon.

One thing to remember is that file size of the level is still small. And with right usage and spotting startting point you can really create whatever you like with stamps.
