    I mostly use trigger and d pad, but I still do use the analog. Depends on the level. But using A for acceleration actually seems like a good idea. It'd be super useful for easy and medium maps.

    I've adapted my riding style over a course of two years to match the A and X buttons and left stick. I can successfully pass any obstacle, Ninja or otherwise, with the buttons apart from a few extreme climbs. I can't zero fault a few medium tracks with the triggers

    Right trigger for gas. Left analog for lean. Left trigger to apply brakes for stopping, but X button for 'levitation' trick for those tricky endo obstacles. I'm pretty sure most of the top players use the Right Trigger for gas, though.
