I heard the drawing isn't over, but there's already 3 winners.Originally Posted by 420![]()
Each week that there isn't a winner the money keeps going into the pot for the next drawing.
I played once and won $7. That's a 700% return. I quit while I was ahead.![]()

At 16 (17?) you aren't able to play anyways. It's another form of legalized gambling.

Our news said the winner has a choice.. take it all and lose half in taxes..300 mil ain't so bad
Or take payments over 26 years and pay no tax..
So that's 23 mil a year for 26 years.. and you get the full 600..
Which is better depends on inflation. In 26 years 23 mil won't be worth what 23 mil is worth now.Originally Posted by raistlin2076
There were 3 winners that had to split it.
I was at Circle K to buy mine and the line in the store was insane. Everybody bought 10 or more tickets. It was crazy. Your odds really dont go up if you buy more than 1 ticket. I always buy 1 ticket, just to put my name in the hat. I never expect to win anything though (won 100 once!). Still, I cant help but day dream about it. Mostly the thought of not stressing about week late bills and things like that... would be so nice.
You also have to take into account the time value of money. If you get 300 mil now, you can invest it and immediately start gaining interest on the entire amount.Originally Posted by Oski
Or you could just blow throw it all within 5 years like 70% of lotto winners, who apparently don't understand how a savings account works.
if i won the lottery i wouldnt invest a single cent, wouldn't start a company. nothing like that. i would just make sure to manage my money right so i could chill the rest of my live.
