Glad to hear it, it's not good to have no life, I've still got my girlfriend and I have a life, still find the time to play this in my spare time as a hobby, not a chore. Good luck on it though. Why not start now buddy, it's never too early to start anything, especially when it's going to do you goodOriginally Posted by RiotPerfect time now to get responsibilities into place as it's the holidays.
Do you reckon I should make a thread about the tournament I'm going to do, or shall I not even bother doing it at all?
That's up to you man haha.
As for me, I have no responsibilities as I'm still 17. But the 'sitting at home doing nothing but playing xbox' days will be over soon. I hope.![]()
Next year I got to go to Uni so...DAAAAAAAAAAAAMN!
I could take back Global and Global DLC if I cared enough. It took HD almost 2 months after I stopped playing for him to pass me, when I quit I was over 100,000 points ahead, so I don't know where you're getting your statistic about him getting close and then I quit. I was first in the game and first on over half of the tracks and tournaments when I quit. I'm also done with this DLC already too. Watch how long it takes HD to beat me on most tracks. Months. ****, he's been trying to beat me on Toxication the last few days and hasn't yet either, and I could still improve that by about .300.Originally Posted by xzamplez

So, thank you. *Shameless Smile*
Anyways......I hope to be as good as you guys in the near future!![]()
Indeed! He desperately wants to be a top player and constantly asks me for tips. He honestly thinks there is a dark secret that all of the top riders are using and asks me if I use a special modded controller.Originally Posted by xzamplez

Just like some people will never be great singers no matter how hard they try (because they don't have the voice), some people will the best at certain video games (various spatial reasoning skills). As I said, some people just aren't cut out for certain things.
Just like I'll never be #1 on Trials Evolution. I'm not good enough.
When you first start playing Trials, your skill progresses exponentially at a rapid pace. It then begins to increase slower and slower over a period of time until you eventually reach a peak. At this peak you begin improving so slowly that it feels like you aren't improving at all.
I'd like to point out that this player, although not good at Trials, is very talented at other games.
My controller is wired.Originally Posted by Yoshi

As for the pointless arguing, guys seriously.. You're all talented.
It's the type of personality that you all have that drives you to be #1 on a certain map.
You're self motivated in ways that others aren't, I'm the same way. But I don't really care for #1's.
Kinda losing interest in Trials for some reason anyway![]()
I'm glad I've inspired you, hehe. All you need to do is just focus, practice, and try and realise that it's a game, it's there to be beaten. And you should do very well. Also I think having sugar rushes help me, but don't listen to me as that will take you down a route I've avoidedOriginally Posted by RiotEven though it might help, don't do it regulary
... Hey, where abouts are you on the Global Rankings? I'm going to be holding that competition when it hits 2013. I'm going to be doing it for the top 200 Global people, does that include you? You will
This just proves my point to AJ, people have high play time who do not go for times, play time and score are very mis leading. The only real proof of being talented is by live performance and I'm sure that is something everyone can agree with me on.Originally Posted by Yoshi

Players tend to begin losing interest in the game at this "peak" and it's the reason I don't play actively anymore.
