Planning a 48-hour session of Evo when 'Origins of Pain' releases? Here are some tips.
- Take a day off work on October 5, 2012.
- Get some sleep and wake up at 3:57 AM EST as this is the earliest time XBLA games release.
- Nap during the download, but do not nap for any longer than 30 minutes.
- Have PLENTY bottles of cold water. AVOID energy drinks and other caffeinated beverages, they will make you crash.
- Eat fruits, salads and cold sandwiches. The sugar in fruits keeps up your lacking energy and it is also cold. The sandwiches are for when your stomach starts going.
-You will want an alarm clock to fight off or limit sleep.
-Dress appropriately. Like it cold? Wear shorts. Like it warm? Wear sweats. Don't wear a blanket, it will make you want to sleep.
- Turn down the brightness of your TV to prevent eye strain
- Attempt to have a large bowel movement before 3:57 AM EST
- Have a container of some sort in close proximity for urination. If your container gets full, dump it out of the window located in the room you are playing Evo in. If there is no window in the room you are in, bring more than one container.
- Leave your Xbox 360 off for about 6 hours or so prior to the release of Evo. You don't want your xbox to overheat during your no lifing session.
- Fap before and during your session.
- Be in a full Xbox LIVE party of 8 people playing Trials Evolution. With all of you constantly talking about how awesome the game is, it'll help keep you awake.
- If you absolutely must take a nap, make it no longer than 30 minutes or you will feel more tired when you wake up.
- Keep the volume of your TV very loud.
- Do occasional stretches with a few reps and take a sip of water when you're finished.
- AVOID junk food.
- Go outside for a brief walk if you are on the edge of falling asleep.
- Chew ice. Mute your mic so you don't piss off people in your party.
- Keep your room well lit.
- When you just can't take no lifing anymore, have an energy drink to power you through the final hours of your no lifing session.
im printing this off.
