the man who updates the xbox website got told they were aiming to release evo on the 18th so he goes and updates the site.

then someone saw it and said "THATS NOT DEFINITE!" so he panicked and changed it to about 700 years away so he wouldnt get fired.

thats what i think happened

I know that it is allowed to say "no" to a question, you are not allowed to speak about.
Your webchat behaviour is weird though.
Since I have confronted you the first time with that question you weren´t prepared for it.
I am just summing up 1+1.

As long as you cannot explain this behaviour on webchat you basically do not disprove me by saying you do not know the release date. Since it would be de standardized business answer on that question.

Because I consider the people I chat with on Webchat to be "buddies", and you saying "Shifty when is the release?" made me uncomfortable by showing that you would ask a question that I would obviously not be allowed to answer even if I had an answer.

Please let me know if this is difficult to understand.

Hey shifty do you as a community manager kow what the evo release date is, I´m not asking for the release date XD. Just being interested in how much a community manager gets told.

Now the question is how can Oski be sure that shifty doesn´t know the release date...
Since shifty would not be allowed to tell him the release date if he would know.
Meaning that Oski basically cannot make any statement about shifty´s knowledge.

We can just keep to the facts and following my analysis which is waterproof
it clearly shows that shifty knows the release date....try disproving it.

Because Shifty just said that he doesn't know it, and since he's no liar -> He doesn't know the rekease date.

He would have to lie in that case because basically his contract would force him too.
This would not be making him a lier though as you concluded.
If he would tell you the truth (considering that he knows it) he would lie to someone else
by breaking the word he has given them: Not to tell any information he gets from/through them.
So in both cases he would tell the truth to one of the participants and lie to the other.
