As the title says I was just wondering if any of you are. I really, really want to go to the Navy Seals. It will be such an amazing experience filled with adrenaline, excitement, and danger. I want to be the top of the top. The Seals are an elite group of men that I would be so honored to be in. I've been watching videos on youtube of training and "Hell Week". I will admit that is just crazy and I am definitely not close to ready for that. I am going to start training a lot to help prepare. So I was just wondering what you guys think about doing something like this and if you are/were a Marine, Seal, etc....
Here's a video of Hell Week if any of you are interested in watching it is about 50 minutes longI watched the whole video.
SAS is where its at... and if anyone was involved in a countries elite there is no way they could say.. there families wouldn't know..
No government in the right mind spends " a lot " of money training these exceptional human beings, to do things 99.9% ( if not more ) of us could only dream of, to blab to there friends what there job is...
Nevermind a forum![]()
These people are extremely rare, highly trained killing MACHINES.. nothing more, nothing less..
.^^ same applies to your half trained seals![]()
HOORAR ... BANG BOMB SHOCK AWE... " sorry, didn't see the flag "
let the games begin![]()
I remember reading a navy seal's autobiography before but I can't remember his name now. The stuff those guys go through is beyond belief. It is a seriously demanding job and I would think long and hard about it before you make a decision. Not that I claim to know anything but from experience working in a local army barracks in the kitchen it's clear that being in the military affects you for the rest of your life. They break you down mentally and physically and rebuild you. I'd say it would be awesome to be able to say you served in the navy sealsits an experience many people wish for and don't get. If you do decide to go for it, get your body prepared for absolute hell but more importantly, know that your mind is going to scream at you to quit endlessly and you have to be able to keep going when sh#t goes down and everybody else is giving up.
I remember reading that the people who don't quit during hell week are forced to watch the people who quit eating hot meals with blankets around them while they havent slept or eaten in days just to test their mental strength. Best of luck man!
SEALS and Marines are more than free to tell people that they are SEALS or Marines. Talking about mission tasking is the No-No.
Thanks for the information I appreciate it.Originally Posted by NonRedOrchid
