sure the server based sharing system is awesome, BUT what when the servers will be shut down some day?
can we share our tracks with the friendlist method again? or would this be the end of user created content for trials evo?![]()
Good question, I want an answer too.
I don't see this happening until the forseeable future.
That sentence makes no sense.Originally Posted by Jarr3tt88
just imagine you want to download some new tracks and would get a message like "there is a server problem, please try again later." or something...server problems can happen and other games showed that many times before. i hope redlynx keep that in mind
yea all games have server problems....you can't help that. THD has been pretty reliable, so I'm sure Evo will be the same.Originally Posted by Core2TOM
Why do people always worry about un-forseen things? lol Aren't there more important things to worry about then a game server not being there in like 5 years? Really?

It all depends honestly, if we have a new Trials game by then I won't care but if we don't well, I think you can foresee that it would not be goodOriginally Posted by Jarr3tt88![]()
HALO 2 was released for the original XBOX in November, 2004.
HALO 2 online multiplayer was still being played by a core of players until the ENTIRE ORIGINAL XBox network was finally shut down in April of 2010, about 5 YEARS after the successor, the XBox 360, was released.
So based on this, I would guess that the Trials Evolution online track central should be around as long as the XBLA network exists, which could be a very, very long time.
In fact, its even possible (my own speculation) that the next XBox (720 or whatever) could even use the same XBLA network.
TL;DR: I wouldn't be terribly worried about it.
I don't understand why you guys are worried about the servers for the game shutting down when the game isn't even released yet![]()
I highly doubt the servers will be shut down for at least 4 or 5 years. This game is going to have a much longer lifespan that trials hd in my opinion.
So why are you worrying about this now when it's not going to be a a problem for years down the road![]()
I already see the message: Wow
we really sold that many units so unbelievable sry for the server problems but we could have never ever imagined such a success![]()
