I don't agree.
That's why you're wrong.

None taken, I agree with you man. I passed the glitch once but I panicked and hit the back button after I realised i'd never be able to set a real time on the track.Originally Posted by Jinchuu

Not true. The concentration of doing 30 obstacles correctly over 40 +/- seconds is more difficult than doing 1 obstacle correctly.
Especially when there are video tutorials that show people exactly how to do the glitch.
Just because less people have done it does not mean it is harder.
I believe that's the exact definition of something being harder.Originally Posted by ShiftySamurai
To me what you're saying would mean this as well, "just because a lot of people have done it, doesn't make it easy".
Not a lot of people wear their pants on their head... Doesn't mean it would be hard to do, sir.
i agree that if there wasn't a short cut, then most of the top players would still be in the top ten.
but because there is a shortcut, and most of the top riders have done it, there original time has to be forgotton, and only exist in memory. you can only post 1 time. so people saying "if i didnt do the shortcut, id be no1" dosnt really matter.
as i said before, think of it as two leaderboards, with and without the glitch.
lets say you were ranked 5th before the glitch was found, after loads of people do the glitch you then decide to do it, and mess it up, and end up being ranked, say 100th.
sure you would be dissapointed, but your original time is now gone. and its unfair on the people who havent done the glitch, to say well "im still better than you, but i done the glitch"
That has nothing to do with skill in a video game, which is what we are talking about.Originally Posted by ShiftySamurai
I get about 50 messages a day asking if the underground shortcut still works, if I could do it for people, or asking for help with how to do it.
I've never once gotten a message about any other world record asking how I did it. So people must be able to figure out how to do other tracks, shortcut must be harder than any other track...
Hard as it may be, glitches aren't legit, no matter how you try to justify it. So, in my mind, whomever has the fastest full coarse run is #1. Doesn't matter who WOULD be #1 IF they hadn't done the shortcut.
So to motion I say; You go girl!!![]()
