Under Ground has a new king!

UNDRGROUNDK1NG no longer holds the record but i'm wondering, is this even considered a world record? Would ChicagoAJ recognise this as the world record?

I'm actually ranked 2485 if anyone wants to know.

not to lower your accomplishment (not even saw your run)
but keep in mind that a LOT of players who did some beast runs without the shortcut have finally choosen to take that shortcut.

so it can not really be considered as a WR

I disagree with Jin, completing Underground by actually navigating through the whole track, instead of popping up over the top, should count towards the WR.

Too bad the game doesn't see it as such, I blame 420.

My best is 35.9 without the shortcut.

And no I wouldn't recognize it as the record because what I had to do is a lot harder than playing the track. How many people have finished the track? 1.something million? How many people have finished it with the shortcut? 2,400? Seems to me it's harder doing the shortcut.

    i agree with shifty.

yes, people probally have done faster times than xmotionsicknes, but in my view, because they chose to do the short-cut, their original time is now invalid, basically doesn't count.

think of it like two separate leader boards, with and without glitch.

I came back on here to post the exact same thing. I cannot accept it as the world record because like you said, there are a number of people better than me who I cannot compete with. And besides, it's not number one on the leaderboard anyway. Its nice to know I beat UncoolSum and KO Syndicate though.

i think i was not clear

it IS an accomplishment for sure, no doubt about that but if NOBODY did that shortcut should he be #1???

    that was my point

i did it for the points not for the spot on the LB but as soon as i did it for the first time i though damn, that's not a replay that is enjoyable to watch.... but i can't reverse it. what's done is done

No offense at all and i admit the accomplishment one more time Motion

I disagree. It's more difficult to string together the the different obstacles in the full course, as there are more variables, than it is to do the glitch through the wood and pop up on the flat ground.

If that shortcut didn't exist the top riders would also be top on that track as well.

Doing the shortcut ending quickly is harder than doing the whole track combined.

True. With the shortcut it's more of a skill game. That's why most top riders shy away or only get the shortcut once and are done with it.
