Now I've heard very little about this but please enlighten me if you can devs, will this mode be after doing the extreme tracks, or is it some kind of tournament to see how many tracks you can do without faulting?

I have no idea what it is, but I think it would be cool if it added independent front and rear brakes to the controller. Possibly just so Qc will quit asking for it!
Absolutely no idea how that would work with only 2 triggers though.
But yeah, there hasn't been any info released on Hardcore mode.

There isn't much variation in the bumpers between Full on and Full off, so that would make braking with them awkward.
I think it would be like stomping the brakes, in your car, to the floor when you wanted to slow down.
