Why do threads disappear?
I read a thread earlier this morning regarding custom tracks that had made there way online. The thread had several replies as well, but now its gone?
Is it really necessary to delete them?
Some of the devs (or shifty cause idk what hes considered) may have deleted them. They usually delete threads that have info they dont want known or arguments or something like that. I have seen threads go missing a few times myself. No big deal. Just move on i guess
The thread was deleted because it started linking to leaked videos of Evo, which contain copyrighted content, which isn't what Redlynx really want to be spread around the internet.Originally Posted by KurtCobain
true, no big deal.... but whats the point of this forum if you don't get to read what people put, if certain people don't believe it either correct or relevant?
I think when jenkki said about rules he missed out, if you post it anything we don't like, it will be deleted!
Is this a forum now or has it lost the point?
I guess it is an inevitable progression from what things were. I just dont like the way its turning out!
if it started to contain links, why not just delete those posts? makes more sense!
This place isn't for sharing pirated games/videos of pirated games.Originally Posted by KurtCobain
I agree oski, I think the links/mention of names or links should have been removed. The rest was regular conversation...Originally Posted by Oski
Of course sharing pirated game info should be off the forums. Thats not right for members to talk about it on here especially since the devs asked kindly for that kind of conversation to not happen.
I know this shouldn't even be up for debate at all, but thats my opinionWe all want evo, we know that. we just gotta be patient and hope Redlynx releases the game really soon.
I agree that maybe only the links should've been removed, but there's nothing I can do about it now.Originally Posted by Jarr3tt88
Even discussing these things is questionable, though.
Wow, that's bad. Why is it questionable? I get removing the links but not allowing your fans to even discuss them, that doesn't reflect well on Redlynx imo. The videos are out there, it's not our fault or their fault, but it is what it is. Pretending they're not out there or letting people discuss them....well, what does Redlynx expect when they don't say anything about the game for months and you have people yearning for the littlest bit of info? I'm really surprised how Redlynx has handled this whole situation.Originally Posted by Oski
