I think they said they compensated for that somehow.Originally Posted by xMotionSickness
They said the checkpoint system compensates for the curving of the track. The distance will always be shorter on the inside lane but you could make single lane tracks and have everyone riding the same line, this way it would be fair.Originally Posted by James24993
Well I have seen a sideways pool of water in a track, I am pretty sure you have a great control over gravity, maybe even on a per-item basis.Originally Posted by James24993
How about just controlling a wheel rolling down a mountain. That would be fun.![]()

...no siriously it would.
concerning "laps", thanks to simple logic i know that overlaping the driveline wont afect how many laps you can do. think of it like this start with a straight pice of string --------- now make a loop ---o-----
now make another on top of that
---o---- no mater how many loops you make you still have to go round the 1st to get to the 2nd and round the 2nd to get to the 3rd loop, and on the 3rd loop is the finish line so you would be going past the finish line x amount of times. x = number of laps/loops.
and with the new skill game logic im sure you can bring up a box top right/left of the screen with "lap A of X" and have a triger at the finish post so you always go past it to add 1 to A.
im sticking with my metroid and zelda remakes![]()
Make an exact Legend of Zelda clone...![]()
3rd person platformer. easy!
The simplest method would be to use a ball as the character .. apply movement of it to the left stick.. offset a camera and apply rotation of it (if possible) to the right stick .. set upwards force through the A button.. lay out a suitably fiendish platformer level lol
I've had much better ideas than this already.. I don't want to give any cool ideas away!!
A 4 player game like Scorched 3D would be pretty cool, but it might be a little tricky to simulate terrain deformation.
