says that you can virtually turn any object into the player... and lock a camera to it/him...

1. Build your level
2. Place ball, and lock a camera to it
3. Make it so that the controls of the thumbstick tilt that camera in the opposite direction you push it
4. Also make the thumbstick apply a wind force to the ball in the same direction you push it
...I'm not exactly sure how you would do this in the editor, but the game Mercury Hg made me think of it.
Sounds plausible (and easier), I was just trying to work out how to do it with the level actually moving. You could even put lights around the perimeter to mark what is "level" when you tilt the game world itself.Originally Posted by xIronWarlordx
+1 for IW's way though, seems much easier to accomplish over gluing everything together.
Nice! Though I should warn you guys the level is going to have more than one ball, maybe with different coefficient's of friction, and they won't be the only thing moving.
Hope you're good at multitasking![]()
Also are we still able to adjust gravity like in the big pack from trials HD? And if so do you think we'll be able to have different areas have different directions of gravity, or even switches that control the gravity?
I wonder if there is a way to make laps with this new curving line![]()
The line can overlap itself, but I don't think you can let the driver cross the finish line more than once. Though with the amount of people requesting it, I wouldn't be too shocked if you could.Originally Posted by 420
Or maybe we'll be able to actually change the strength and direction of gravity?
I don't see this being a problem either. Sure, you might not be able to make an oval design with the driveline, but you could, theoretically, just keep laying the line down with the same basic curves to make it seem as though you are completing laps.Originally Posted by James24993
I think.
Exactly what I was thinking, if you lay the driving line down over a number of obstacles into a circuit then repeat the circuit twice more, then place your finish line you've got three laps.Originally Posted by ShiftySamurai
One problem with this is that the outside lane in a supercross cross track will have a huge disadvantage over the inside lane.
