    3D T.V. HELP

So in about a few months most likely around my birthday and Evos release I will be buying a nice new 3D T.V. and I have had some questions that I need answered and I feel like the regular internet won't tell me crap.So if anyone knows anything about them please answer as many as you can:
1.) Is all regular television in 3D, only some , or do I have to like buy it?
2.) Are any games in 3D? I've seen a few newer games with 3D settings like Black Ops,Gears 3,and I think MW3 and I didn't know if only certain new games play in 3D or if any game can.

Ok well I guess those were the only questions I had but if anyone can answer them that would be great.

    Re: 3D T.V. HELP

hi, i dont actually have a 3d but i might be able to help.

here in the u.k. normal t.v is NOT broadcast in 3d. if you do want to have 3d, theres sky tv (satalite service). they only have one 3d channel at the moment, which they give you for free, but you have to have the complete sky package! (movies 1 and 2, sports 1 and 2 and everything else!)

im not sure about other countries, but thats what's available here in u.k.

as for games in 3d, i know that some games support 3d, but ive never played in 3d. only on nintendo 3ds!

    that's all i know really

    1. Not sure what you mean by "regular television." TV shows are 2D. Blue-ray movies that support 3D will state so.
    2. Sonic Generations. Avatar: Cameron's game.

Regular TV will NOT be 3D. Games and movies have to be made for 3D to work. I would wait on getting that TV for a year or 2. Not much content for it yet.

    Re: 3D T.V. HELP

If they integrate processors into the TV then the normal TV can be calculated for 3d.. Effects aren't that nice though and those things cost like 7999 Euros.

So wait a little at least until the next generation of consoles.. 3d has no Standard and that is the reason for not buying a 3d TV yet.

Also you should not watch 3 D all the time anyway. Only a few hours a day max because it hurts the eyes. If you buy a TV you should go for HD resolution and 200 Hz and O- LED.

Consider 3d as a gimmick as of now or wait until the next consoles arrive and there is a real Standard for it and the development follows a more stable way. Deciding whether to go the active or passive 3d route.

    Re: 3D T.V. HELP

Ok so from what you guys are saying is that no television is in 3D and I can't play any game(besides the ones mentioned) in 3D.So then I come to the conclusion that a 3D T.V. is just f%$#ing stupid and pointless.Well I guess I'll either just buy a new xbox now and/or wait till the new consoles.

So then what am I seeing when I walk into a best buy and they have sports and other stuff playing in 3D? Is that just special channels that have 3D or just stuff made just for me seeing in the store as an example of what the 3d would look like?

Just an example so you see what it would look like and 3D is not completely senseless. A lot of blue ray films support 3d.

Yeah but movies were that last thing I cared about when using the T.V.
