I just remembered now. I played on one of your track and everytime i restart with back button im back at the start line, but whenever i pressed B, i would be just a bit in front of the start line. I couldnt record this because customs dont show time indicator (in red or green) but ill look it up and see which track that was. It was the only one that i have ever seen this happened on.

probably on the one where I tried to use that start checkpoint glitch, whenever you hit B it gives you a fault, I dont know how to make it so that doesn't happen, so I dont do it anymore

That's ******** - I use b and It's just as fast - test it in the editor - 10m track with no obstacles - hold a the whole time and restart with b and restart with back - same time every time

In an attempt to fix the de-railing that has occured here:

I think that'd be extremely helpful because for experienced players that go for record times won't have to alternate between the B and the Back button everytime you fault, depending if you get past the first checkpoint, which gets annoying since B is 10 times more easy to press. You could just press B and restart from the beginning each time. Especially since most experienced players usually know when they're gonna crash BEFORE they actually do, or maybe they could just make it so that the exact second you crash you'll restart from the beginning automatically. I don't see how this would hurt the game or make anything easier.

Also I think it'd be awesome if we could use or create different checkpoint styles for our tracks so they could fit in with the theme more
While I do not have much experience creating tracks in THD, would just setting a start and finish point work the same in this instance? Or at worst case, creating a start, finish, and one checkpoint near the very end of the track? Is there some function in the editor(in THD) that forces you to create checkpoints every-so-often?

I'd also really like to see customizable checkpoint towers. Although, with this editor, I'm sure it wouldn't be terribly hard to disguise it with other objects, leaving just the light/flag visible.

Is the back button really 10x harder to press than B? I've never had a problem with it.

I know the start line glitch
And I know how to not get a fault when you press B too

While I do agree with you, I am still curious as to whether the checkpoints can be placed at the creator's leisure, as well as the checkpoint customization.
