    multiplayer drive lines

Just something I was thinking of today, maybe someone can shed some light on this...

In multiplayer do the 4 drive lines have to run parralel to each other. Or can they span off in other directions?

Based on this, I assume that you can adjust the distance between the four lanes but they will always be parallel to each other.

I think based on the wording of that answer, its a pretty safe presumption.

You can always put different (vertical) obstacles in each track, if you were determined to make different lanes work or ride differently. You could even make an easy lane, a medium lane, a hard lane, and an extreme lane! Of course, the lane you get placed in is randomly chosen by the computer, so that may not be a great idea!

Did we mention you can modify lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of stuff? (then some more stuff and the ability to do some cool things you won't believe!

So looks like it doesn't force you to make all 4 lines identical, at least obstacle-wise.

    hmmmmmm..

This made me think of co-op.
You could make like 4 player coop where one person needs to do this, so other one will be able to do that, and then 2 of them needs to do thisthat in a perfect sync and stuff and stuff.
Basicly physics obstacles where 1 person activates something on another persons riding lane, and you need to co operate in doing things in specific order and and.

edit: of course the scoring system doesn't really support anything like this I assume. But you can make some awesome coop puzzle tracks :]

This sounds super advanced, my feeble little mind is crumbling at attempting to formulate how this could work.
